I look forward to seeing why Price ends up not getting it.

Cheers to the mods for locking the pointless threads. Jesus tonight didn't half remind me of the days when I posted on eastside years back. After a fight has finished you always got people making 50 threads on the same subject with a slightly different thread title.

Realistically, can Maloney actually pay that money to Fury.

I would have thought it would attract big interest from TV around the World as well as sponsorship and could pack out a big arena/stadium so yeah I wouldn't be suprised at all if the purse for a Price v Fury fight was enormous.

I thought Fury looked like a complete cvunt on C5 tonight... As for Price Vs Fury? Price stops him inside the distance, easily. Fury needs to step up his competition or stop running his mouth. He's a fornicating joke.

You think Price's opposition has been better?

Not necessarily, but I do think Price is a much better boxer.... Fury has a good years worth of fights on Price as a pro and other than a fat Chisora what has Tyson got to show for it? A tough fight against Big John first time round? Being put on his arse by that candaian eastern european fella? What was the fight where he gassed badly in the final couple of rounds a couple years back too? He looks incredibly ordinary to me. Price on the other hand has pretty much dispatched every opponent he's come across and looked clinical doing it.

Price had his first pro fight less than 4 months after Fury did.

I said he had a good years worth of fights on Price, which he does... I didnt say he had been a pro for a year longer than him. Price had a fairly sporadic start to his pro career. The rest of my points still stand.

Fury has fought better opposition.

None of your other points argue in favour of Price having fought better opposition (which he clearly hasn't).

I think I must be missing your point.... Fury has looked ordinary against ordinary opposition, Price has looked clinical against ordinary opposition, thats my point.... Your point seems to be that Fury has fought slightly better opposition, I'll agree with you there if it helps. :TU:

I didn't... You asked if I thought Price had fought better opposition and I said 'not necessarily' then explained that it was the manner of Price's victories that was so much more impressive.

When did I say Price had fought the better opposition?

What has being impressive got to do with anything?

"Not necessarily" was a silly answer, as Price's opposition is clearly less good than Fury's. Why not just say "no" and leave it there?
CheckHook wrote:When did I say Price had fought the better opposition?
You didn't. You suggesting that Fury should fight better opposition before he mouths off was odd though, considering Fury has fought a significantly better level of opposition than Price has.
