Time will tell but he has the look of a young Klitschko and the power to match.
Murphy was a learning fight. So was Occasiopalooka wrote:I watched him box dan murphy at sheffield city hall, chis saunders boxed and so did mark ramsey, harold knight was there and looked the meanest of the lotkeithmoonhangover wrote:Next up a 45 year old who also isn't good enough to beat Rogan... Brave matchmaking there Mr Malonet. I don't remember Lennox fighting old blokes on the way up.
He is clearly a level above I agree, that's why he should now be moved on to bigger tests in prep for Klitschko's rather than hanging round facing old men at domestic level. Price is 29, he could for all we know be at the peak of his powers in terms of speed and power. Beating up old men will teach him nothing.jessi wrote:Hagler2002 wrote:Price imo is levels above anyone at British level apart from Haye.

After just under 4 years as a pro price will be entering the Ring to face a 45 year old Skelton. Lewis, after a similar amount of time as a pro was bouncing Donovan Ruddock off the canvas and beating Tony Tucker out in Vegas defending his WBC world title.
For all Price's quality he isn't ever going to be in Lewis' league. Comparisons aren't fair on the scouser.
Price beat a guy in one round that Fury struggled with once and lost to once. Who had a chance of winning there?keithmoonhangover wrote:Price just beat a 40 year old that lost to Martin Rogan 4 years ago. Big deal. I predicted a one round blow out and that's what we got.
When is Price going to fight someone that has a chance of winning? People are getting completely carried away.
Please Hurlock - I've seen loads of your posts and you do know your arse from your elbow but Harrison was full on wide eyed scared to death going into the ring. He did not throw a punch he thought would lnd with force or leave him in range and feinted with his lead right. All bout long his gloves were open, not closed in a fist. The man got knocked out (every boxer faces the possibility, most paid far less) but did less than anyone I can remember to make it a real contest.[/quote]palooka wrote:I thought it could of been tricky.price has shown struggles with southpaws in the past & if audley turns up its a contest! Aid didn't appear scared or didn't swallow it he got bashed & I was abit surprised in the fashion price done it
Price & Haye did identical numbers on Harrison; they both massacred him with the first solid blows they connected with.hurlock wrote:keithmoonhangover wrote:Price just beat a 40 year old that lost to Martin Rogan 4 years ago. Big deal. I predicted a one round blow out and that's what we got.

Furys team relenquished!!
He has mullerd McDermott, sexton & done a much better job then haye!!
he was number one to tyson fury and tyson fury dumped the titles rather than fight price, price can only fight who is next in line to his titles. tell me who domestically has a chance of beating him????keithmoonhangover wrote:Price just beat a 40 year old that lost to Martin Rogan 4 years ago. No. Price was offered £200,000 to fight Fury on Channel 5, but turned it down. Fury vacated because he'd lose his Channel 5 contract if the fight was on Sky. He couldn't take that chance.fasteddie wrote:he was number one to tyson fury and tyson fury dumped the titles rather than fight price, price can only fight who is next in line to his titles. tell me who domestically has a chance of beating him????keithmoonhangover wrote:Price just beat a 40 year old that lost to Martin Rogan 4 years ago. fury gave up the best belt in the world to win outright (lonsdale) rather than fight price, this isnt price fault, chisora would be a good test but he isnt licensed skelton would be the next in line then he can relinquish the belt and move on but until then he is winning fights the right way and learning his trade as a pro.The Dark Destroyer wrote:x2.
Chisora would be a test, Fury too. Hopefully he'll be in with one of those two rather than Skelton next.
no fury shit his pants and gave up his belts rather than fight a proper contender to his titles end of storykeithmoonhangover wrote:No. Price was offered £200,000 to fight Fury on Channel 5, but turned it down. Why did Price turn down £200,000?fasteddie wrote:

he didn't,if they wouldnt of came up with a reasonable offer (hennessey/maloney) then it would of went to purse bids, check out the interview with fury when he said it made no sense to fight on sky in front of so many people on tv when he can fight on channel 5 in front of alot more so it was him who put the blockers on the fight not price.keithmoonhangover wrote:Why did Price turn down £200,000?fasteddie wrote:
