Okay, I'll ask. Do you get paid more, less or the same as the original and still the best (in my opinion only) Boxing Ireland?

depends on whether they get paid in fruit and veg! the majority of boxing content you see possibly 95% is self-funded.

Both, we are fans of the sport and also trying to get the iFilm name out there. Its difficult starting out with no major backer in name or finance.

I would think that free tickets to the shows and access to the fighters for interviews is a pretty decent perk of the job. That said they are doing a great job and hopefully they make enough money elsewhere to continue bringing us the footage.

How about the one where the guy said to Audley Harrison something like: "You've won a gold medal, the European championship, fought for the world title, and been on iFilm London. What others dreams do you want to fulfill?"

What is your ultimate aim for iFilm? Would you like to work on a channel doing their stables interviews, or will you always remain independent and free to do what you like?

I think ifilm do provide a good service and it’s a great opportunity for them and for boxers at all levels in the UK to showcase themselves.
Obviously someone funds them or pay for their services, otherwise what is the point? And more to the point they would be doing day jobs.
But this is there day job!!!
Saw a tweet over the weekend that matchroom paid for travel and hotel expenses, for ifilm to be in Belfast so I presume that wasn’t a one off.
I don’t think they are on the matchroom payroll, but they obviously to get paid for services.
They don’t have a company number at company house, but I don’t believe they are owned by allegedly or matchroom, more of a affiliate.
I do enjoy the boxing coverage ifilm provide, let’s all be honest they do more for uk boxing then, itv + bbc put together.
Just find it strange how boxing news or bbc haven’t jumped onto the back of what ifilm do and do something similar as surely they would have a bigger budget and a business objective behind doing something similar.
All for ifilm, they are a small team and they can’t cover everything but what they cover is great.
Kugan picked up a recent award in the new year, you would hope someone like Golden Boy or Top Rank invite them over to US to cover a fight.
Someone like Adrian broner and danny Garcia might benefit from a ifilm interview, to build up a following.
A lot of people dislike paulie maganalli, because he fought Hatton and then because of he’s tweets. But on camera he comes across as a good person, if all boxers had that opportunity it would do wonders.
BBC and ITV don’t offer that, ifilm and the power of the web do!

Keep up the good work chaps, much appreciated.

More FW please, he amuses me

Nobody would pay them to do what they do when the average video gets like 400 views and only occasionally do they capture something that catches interest of part-time boxing fans.
They get way more views than 400. I'v clicked 6 random ifilm vids from the last 2 weekends (Brook and Price bills) and they all have over 1000 views and the Brook weigh in vid has over 8000 views. I mean not being funny, Kenny Anderson's post fight interview had 1500 views and (with respect to him) he aint exactly a household name so I think ifilm London do a good job personally.

There are youtube millionaires on the way definitely for those that keep plugging away.
Ed Bassmaster is one of my faves.
Closer to home, a kid from UK, working in McDonald's filmed his gaming exploits with a commentary, call of duty tips etc.
Three years on, he has an eye watering 2,500,000 subscribers, 550k twitter followers and his channel earns him £750-1000 a day, 365 days a year in adverts. He gets flown around the world first class by gaming companies to just play their games and report on them. He has sponsors galore too.
My point is, it can make money, definitely.

Could Cassius be in that club that use an alias. A club which includes Elton John, Paul Merton, Bill Bailey, Danny Dyer. Surely not.
