I know i'm a bit of a bleeding heart liberal but i really do think bringing five-year old assault charges is beyond the pale. Justice delayed is justice denied! How on Earth can any witness on either side be expected to provide reliable evidence when recalling an incident that took place so long ago?

Aye, they should have sorted it out earlier for sure. Perhaps the evidence from the witnesses was given at the time? One of the poor bastards will have been whistling whilst giving it through a big gap in his top teeth whilst the other one had plenty of time to reflect whilst laid up from work.

A mate who is reliable said he saw harrison beat the shit out of someone in a bar once.

Spanish justice is weird, my cousin got banged up over there for 2 years for extortion, while inside he beat the shit out of another inmate who looked at him the wrong way and left him paralysed, he got a measly 6 months added on to his sentence and they let him out early, he only did 18 months in total so he never even served the original sentence.

Backwards country anyway populated by lazy fucks who have a shit work ethic and spend all day sitting around pissing about.

Trust me the UK is heaven compared to that place, I'm generalising a bit, the Basque people are alright and the Catalunyans are alright too.

I hope he gets his life on track when this is all over if he loses his appeal
