I would say Price and Haye have a punchers chance but most likley Haye would take a one sided beating again and I reckon Price would get stopped within 3. Current version of Wladimir is a very difficult to beat fighter, I cant think of many fighters ever who would start favourite against him at the moment. Lewis, Ali, peak Tyson maybe, Foreman

Yep fair point I'd fancy Holmes too, not sure he'd murder him though

Haye??? You must buy into the toe story to a significant extent, I guess. Haye couldn't get near him without putting his chin on the line, and he wasn't prepared to do that. He's a blown up cruiser, and he can't compete with someone that size who has any skills. It would be interesting to see what happens if he tries to stick one on either Klitschko (he made no attempt in the first fight), but I'd see him getting Carl Thompsoned again.

I would still say Haye has the best chance but likely won't. If he actually let his hands go, he has the speed the land first and power to huty him... it's just he didn't last time

A lot of people thought conceding height, reach, weight and age to a 6'8 guy. 4 years younger than him would test Klitschko.
If anything he found it easier than fighting 6'0 Eddie Chambers.
It kind of burst the bubble of illusion [delusion?] for me that Price and Fury (less so as he is more mobile and significantly younger) would stand anything other than a slim punchers chance against Wlad at this moment. On a good day!
There is no way either Price or Fury could have taken the shots Wach did, and I say that as a big Fury fan.
It was quite sobering watching the fight. It just makes you realise that the equivalent playing Champion's League finals for 10 years in a row is going to give you all kinds of experience that competing against Blue Square Conference teams llke Skelton & Harrison won't prepare you for.
Haye is the only heavyweight out there who has the pedigree to compete with Wlad. The Klitschko's and Haye are basically operating in an entirely different class to the rest of the heavyweight division

Largely agree with that, I tuned in specifically to see how Wlad would do against a bigger man and he actually seemed to enjoy not having to punch down to someone. His footwork and timing was superb - that's what Fury and Price will simply not be able to deal with at this stage. I'd fancy Wach to beat Fury to be honest.
Not entirely sure about Haye though. Didn't convince me against Valuev, almost got iced by Barrett, ran from Wlad for 12. I'd like to see Haye act more like a serious boxer and less like a part-time chancer. If he really wants the rematch with Wlad he should make his case by taking on the people like Wach, Povetkin, Arreola et al. He didn't do enough in their fight to get a rematch.

This is coming from an 'I hate Haye's personality' perspective. I think he's a cock but he is world class. He has the knowledge, skill, power, speed timing to make him definet number 3. He beats Price and Fury right now. He can cope with size and he can hit and run. Look at Valuev. And Price is chinny. So hit and run for long enough and he could catch him and put him down

Haye could if he was positive. But by being positive he could end up getting sparked himself, which is why he boxed so negatively last time.
Can't see anybody else at this moment in time.

Fury would be the tallest fighter Wlad has faced and with the longest reach.
Wlad's stamina doesn't seem very good and I think Fury could outlast him and stop him late.
Do you really think Fury has better stamina than Wlad? Fury's spent his career mostly fighting stationary sluggers. He will have to move like never before against Wlad. Wlad is constantly on the move in his fights to ensure he's always at the right distance and angle to throw and land his punches without the other guy able to get set. It was a boxing clinic on Saturday night. I can honestly say I've never seen a heavyweight Wlad's size bouncing on his toes and moving around the ring so smoothly as he did, over every round of a twelve rounder. Fury's got a long way to go.

Stamina? Why does this come from? Because he didn't stop someone with a GREAT chin late on? He has been fighting at championship level... 12 rounders... for over 10 years. He walks around at the weight he fights at, lives cleanly, looks in great shape and trains like a beast. He boxes at a medium pace, controlled. He's fitter than anyone

Fury would get stopped inside 6 rounds by Wlad, who wouldn't be able to miss him for me. Price in 18 months would have the best chance I think if he develops how he should. I've no doubt that if Price landed flush on Wlad, that Wlad would be in serious trouble. The obvious problem is whether he could do it before Wlad lands on him as I'm not sure Price could stand up to some of the shots he landed on Wach on Saturday.

the young(ish) guys need to just go out there, try see what happens. there is always the puncher's chance and after beign shaken by wach wlad probably can't wait til after this new 5 fight deal is over. pulev and if they get him ready helenius, who has the firepower if he puts it together.

I don't think anyone can beat Wlad that's around at the moment. Wlad seemed to find a bigger guy more top his liking.
If Haye and Wlad fought again I think you'd get the exact same fight. Wlad intimidated by Haye's power, Haye intimidated by Wlad's power so you have another jab and move fight where every round is relatively close, but Wlad catches the eye with the extra couple of shots he lands.
I don't know whether Price or Fury will ever be ready for Wlad. I just think he's way better than people give him credit for.

Nobody currently.
If Haye went all out attack from the start he'd have a chance but Wlad would still be a big favourite
Price if he continues to improve and starts beating guys who are in the top 10 you'd give him a slim chance but would still expect him to be knocked out
Pulev is just about the best of the rest at the moment but will he be ready?
Solis if he could get himself into shape would have a decent enough chance
Okay, okay now I'm descending into fantasy

Price it the best chance. Haye would have no hope as he doesn't have the heart, as he showed last time. One plan, didn't work, gave up.

after watching him cover up like a turtle and go in his shell off one right hand i would say whoever doesnt give him the room and time to land his shots and ignores what he has done in the past to people who let him do these things and concentrate on what they want to do,price and fury would test him and it wouldnt surprise me if they knocked wlad out. if wach had more to his game we would be looking a world champion from poland now

Completely agree. In London with 10 strong toes and none of the silly buggering around pre-fight Haye could force a decision or stoppage (possibly).
x 3 i wouldnt have him as the favourite but Haye showed he can avoid being hit by wlad, id be interested to see what happens when he goes looking for wlad. The 12th round was the only one with any action in and haye hurt wlad, if that had happened from the start one of them would have ended up counted out.
Ill 4th it then, i think if haye lands on any heavy their going to sleep

I dont know what the whole solis bandwagon thing is about, what has solis done as a pro? He beat Haye as an am but if you watch the fight if it had been a pro fight haye would have wiped him out in the 1st round; solis was given the 8 count and allowed time to recover.

haye didnt take a one sided beating the first time. He got out jabbed in a couple of rounds and landed the only meaningful punch of the fight.

118 - 108, 117 - 109 and 116 - 110 with a knockdown in round 11 is pretty one sided to me. I like Haye but it wasnt a close fight.
