For me Johnson is a much better opponent than I expected at such short notice.

I think it will be a stinker, with Fury winning, unless he pushes too hard for the KO and runs out of gas.

Johnson is the perfect opponent for Fury at this stage. It should be a real learning fight.

 Johnson has a tight defence, has never been stopped and hasn't been hit anywhere near as many times as Audley. Stop talking bollocks mate, it's beneath you.

Amen to that. I directed another short film at the weekend, which had a pole dancing welsh girl in it. Happy days.

I'd have preferred Sosnowski or Toney though.
Why? Sosnowski's absolutely dreadful and Toney shouldn't be allowed to fight.
I cannot believe anyone would want to see Toney fight. He's shot to bits and is heading for ending up requiring carers.

Good opponent at this notice. Might not be a fun fight to watch it's a step up from Rogan and Maddalone and shows progress.

I know it will be a stinker, but unlike Audley, Johnson won't fold after the first decent shot he gets hit with.

Why is there so many boxing snobs who talk about boxers (good, average or poor) like the crap on their shoe.

Ok if you dont like a boxer or a promoter be free to say it but at least be fair and consistant. i know a lot of the same
People who slag furys oppenents and performances off are the same people who have been more than happy to praise haye on his oppenants and are willing to hype up everything price has ever done.

Fury is still young and relatively inexperienced, lets not be too harsh on him and well done to hennesey for getting this fight sorted at short notice.

And yes i am a fan of price as well and believe that his fight with skelton his a decent style to test himself with before he moves on.

Not for me he isn't. I like Bertie, but Johnson's a much better boxer.

Toney was very good, but he's 44, not exactly compus mentis and shouldn't be boxing.

I thought Sosnowski deserved the decision against him in Prizefighter and he has also got better wins than Johnson.

It might not be good for Toney's health, but I think Fury would learn more against Toney than Johnson.

He'd learn how to knock out a fat punch drunk middleweight with a big gob and a history of failed drugs tests.

Johnson is a good learning fight. He has fought and gone the distance with Klitschko, who is the same sort of size as Fury, so we know he can extend big heavyweights.

Toney has no such history and is custom made for Fury.

As this moment in time, fighting Toney is no better or worse than fight Maddalone or Skelton

Will we not be getting to see Eubank jnr given another run out here then ?

No mention of it yet so im assuming not , but id have thought hennesy would be keen to keep exposing him to channel 5s audience .

Is he injured or anything ?
