Don't be bloody silly tommy was a partner for ricky,I'm sure he's looking no further than domestic level at present

I dont think many people would moan if you gave a guy who floored him in the first round a chance to redeem himself! Burns is average no more no less and I personally think everyone knows this. It won't happen though! It's a big money fight for the promoter and after that it'll be back to basics (ie British Level).
Live opponents are not in abundance for this guy, a club fighter in America would eat him up. Well protected. (See Cook, Lareya, Evansen)

Broner would dominate Burns; I don't see how Ricky wins that fight.

Will Burns still fight on this bill or go straight for Broner

Burns shouldnt be fighting in december in my opinion unless its just a pocket filling excercise.
A world champion should be either fighting big fights in front of a home crowd or big challenges away from home not fighting mediocre opponents hundreds of miles away from his own fans....
Step forward Adrian Broner. Win lose or draw for Burns, its a fight I wanna see and there would still be plenty of options left for burns "domestically" if he loses. It wouldnt be the end of the line.

Having watched Broner dismantle Demarco, I just cannot see Burns living with him.
Broner`s style is awkward and can fight going forwards or on the counter. he puts some terrific combinations together switching from head to body and back again with speed. Looks like he has some power as well. he uses his body movement, shoulders and elbows as defence and his neck looks like it can absorb heavy shots.
Burns is a great fighter, but Broner is on another level for me.

Broner or Vasquez should be the 2 targets. Broner would be a massive opportunity for Rickster to make a name for himself stateside. As for Vasquez, it would be a unification that Warren would be able to afford over here going on Vasquez's last purse.

Burns will get scorched by Broner; he's bigger, faster, and hits harder. I think he knows this, and I don't see him taking the fight.

I'd say either somebody with an unbeaten record, a Mexican - "as they always come to fight", a "top" American or somebody who went the distance with somebody who went the distance with somebody who was quite good.

Somehow I can't see it being Adrien Broner at this kind of notice and with him having only fought on saturday!?!
Same goes for the likes of Martinez with the short notice.
What is needed is someone who is ranked by the WBO, has not fought too recently or is in training for another, lesser fight, is cheap and brings a marginal level of risk....
How about Samuel Amoako, WBO Africa Champion, ranked 14th by the WBO (1 place below Liam Walsh) and who is scheduled to defend his "title" next week? Only been stopped once and on a 9 fight winning streak.

I reckon Burns will fight a keep busy fight in December then hopefully Broner at some point next year. March has been mentioned by some people.
Broner looked superb and will likely destroy Burns but I think Ricky will fancy it.

just seen on twitter than apparently GBP say there is no deal in place for ricky to fight broner. suggestion that the best he get next year is demarco and broner goes 140 for bigger fights

Well at least Walsh won't have to worry about whether or not he gets paid now!

I would love to see Ricky fight Broner and prove everyone wrong! Ricky is very much underestimated and its sad that the British public put him down every chance they get! Walsh knew he would not beat Ricky and it was obvious that fight would not happen just yet! I hope Ricky gets a good fight possibly someone with Broner style then take things from there... Broner will happen next year unless Ricky moves up weight again he seems to be physically getting bigger, stronger, faster and maturing physically over the past few years

Can't they just chuck Scott Harrison in there before he gets banged up for 4 years?

I'd like to see him fight Broner too, and I'm not a detractor, not one bit. I like the way he fights, I think he's stretching himself, which I admire, and Broner is the obvious big test. I don't think he'd pass it, but if he's prepared to try, I'll cheer for him all day. I just think Broner has too much of everything; I think he'll be the big story of the next 10 years. That said, Burns continues to get better at an age when he might not; I thought he did an amazing job against Katsidis, and who's to say he doesn't have another level in him?

Det er ingen som rakker ned paa Burns! Det er bare at jeg synes han vil tape stort. broner er et class act og Burns er ikke i samme divisjon.
Sann er det bare. jeg like Burns, men Broner er et meget farlig fighter.
Helvete, faen, mensenfitte, kuk, raev, muggene, pissenflappen.

I would love a blowie from pippa Middleton but that's not happening in this lifetime either.
Broner would embarrass Burns. And his team knew that when broner became mandatory to 130lb title.
And broner the more likely to go up aga
in real soon.
He 23.
Burns better to wait around, avoid broner and then he can reign an empty 135.
Might have to snuff out what's left of demarco
