Simon was badly injured, all reports suggest his boxing career (certainly at top level) is well and truly over.
It was a great win over Wright in S.Africa though.

I wonder whether we will see Oscar fight Winky....
He may figure that Hopkins is going to kick his ass badly on the strength of seeing Mosley dominated by a light puncher like Winky...
However, he may want to avoid Winky and just go straight to the main course, otherwise he risks losing to Ronald, and losing his big fight....

I remember seeing Simon dismantling Kevin Lueshing and he looked a breath of fresh air, however if he was still fighting now wouldn't he be up at Middleweight? I am sure he was Boxing there before he got injured in the car crash, i think that the legal side of the crash as much as the injuries will stop his way back into Boxing, wasn't he said to be to blame for the crash? I am sure i read that others died and it was his fault or something.

really i dont see how anyone could have scored it that way, I was being kind to mosley when I scored it and still only gave him 3 rounds (the first 5th and last) and the first round I was being particularly generous.
cant see how anyone would make mosely a winner personally.

Michael Katz is well known as an Oscar De La Hoya hater (he calls him "Chicken" Hoya). Thus he is in love with Mosley, who twice beat The Golden Boy of course. That says it all for his calling of the Winky fight. He's simply biased.

Agreed, although it sounds alarmist these guys should not be paid to write about Boxing as it gives a false impression to the causal viewer or the less learned. I know we all have opinions but sometimes so called Boxing experts just astound you with there ignorance and bias, that's why i don't have many (if any) "favourite fighters" or none of this era especially, it clouds judgement....it's better to hate everyone and all is fair
