Think its best to just agree to disagree but for the record, knowing where you've been, and how you've been Fewkey fuckin well done for achieving what you did in tems of weight loss and prep, and hopefuly its given you a new focus.
Not having a pop mate, never met the bloke so no reason other than just being a p***k to do so. Since I don't know him I don't know what he's been through (or not) of late so I'm not fit to comment on that. All I'm saying is that when I've seen him he didn't look a big lightweight, though he impressed me with his skills, combinations and style.
My concern in a nutshell is he looks like a fighter who, not having much pop and with his style and height, needs to fight at his optimum weight to be succesful - not his fault IMO. He needs to be able to throw a good volume of punches per round, maintain his work rate throughout and keep sharp - fighting at your 'fit' weight is key to these traits.
Earlier in this thread I've praised his wins over Watson and Tonchev, they were excellent. I wish him all the best but I don't see this going well above 140. I actually think this is a real shame as he's a skilled kid, but any welter/light-middle who can punch a bit and is fit will, I fear, produce a result I do not want to see.
