Based on what? If you are cleaned up that early you are obviously not in the hunt!

based on seeing some pretty good shots that lucas took and seemingly had no effect on him.

As a kickboxer Browne has probably been kicked in the head. This bloke would have brought nothing new to his table.

I think you need to watch a fight to know if someone is in the hunt rather than rely on when they were finished.

Are you saying that Pacman was never in the hunt in his last fight with Marquez because he was Koed in the 6th?

who cares, you should be judging fights on what happens in them, not the result you read.

You can tell from his posts he doesn't actually bother watching the fights.

i don,t know what happened to my last post, but as i said ,at no time was gavern going to win that fight, he was not in it, vast difference to pacmans fight, are you sure you watched the fight danh ? all the best

Hi patron - read the posts in their entirelty mate. I am saying i did not see the fight. My point is you cannot just assume because some one was ko'ed in the 3rd, that they were never in the fight, unless of course you watched hte fight and therefore it would not be an assumption. I never said Gavern was going to win or was even in the fight..

Patron, from what you write it was nowhere near close. Am I correct?

so u were making a comment about a fight u didn't even watch, lol.

oh boy. u r good brute.

maybe next time u should have an idea about what the hell u r talking about hey.

lucas always looked like he was gunna win. but he was tagged by some pretty decent shots that didn't seem to faze him in the slightest.

but gavern was never expected to be anywhere remotely near his peak on such short notice.

As I said previously the Lucas V Gavern fight was basically a mis-match. But again it was a case that Hatton and his prommotion team were "caught between a rock and a hard place", with the short notice to get a replacement to ensure that "the show must go on"!

I could not watch it because I was out of town on family business. I did not see The Johnson Burns fight either, but I know how it ended. You only had to look at Gavern's record to see he was no match for Browne, in spite of some of the myths about American heavies on this board.

to his credit, gavern got into the ring on short notice,he never looked like worrying brown, i still want to see brown up against someone around his size and equal or better ability, to test his defence and chin, brown has a punch that can take anyone out, all the best

So far two British heavies have ducked him.

I've only ever seen Browne fight once in the flesh and sure he won every round against Clarence Tillman, but not at any stage did he look like he was going to put big Clarence away. I hope he does go on with it but you would think if he can put away anyone it should have been Tillman. Jmo.

i think he is just treating his boxing more like a cricket test match. i think he may be trying to prove he can box quite well when he's focused.

we'll soon see if thats the case anyway.
