Agreed on both. I see that Joyi has had mixed fortunes since that fight.

I agree with you Horse! Keep seeing his name appear on p4p lists and can't think why? Are we that hard up for elite fighters that a guy who has been properly tested once (and arguably lost) can make it on a top 10 list?
Do you seriously have no knowledge of Antonio Demarco?

He doesn't crack my top 10 either based on resume, but I'm assuming people who list him are basing it on talent. I think the argument that he hasn't been tested should be put to rest following his last performance. Especially for a 23 yr old

Why should he? DeMarco is nothing special.

Broner's talent has been tested against De Leon and he failed the test.

Bollocks.

Antonio DeMarco, would that be the Antonio DeMarco who got shredded for every second of his fight vs Valero or the Antonio DeMarco who got out of jail vs the massively discredited Jorge Linares?

What he's talking about, anyway, is the struggle your boy had with Daniel Ponce De Leon. Do you seriously have no knowledge of Adrien Broner?

 Got out of jail is the credit you give the guy for surgically splitting his opponents face? Valero was 27-0 with 27 KOs. Are there any respectable loses?

If beating the best guy in the division is dismissed then whats the point in discussing it. Broners allowed to have a close fight with Ponce De Leon when hes KO'd 15 of the last 16 others easily.

Its easy to hate on a guy when you blindly discredit all the achievements of him and his opposition.

He beat DeMarco handily, who was never all that as I've explained to you.

He squeaked by De Leon, who is a doubleplus hard bastard, & looked like a bitch doing it (despite probably having fifteen pounds on the guy).

Who else has he fought? Because the rest of his fights, it looks like a bunch of stiffs, midgets & midget stiffs. Or is that "blindly discredit[ing]... his opposition"?

I rather feel I'm being generous, meself.
