Friday: Rose vs Webb & Haskins vs Jamoye
Re: Friday: Rose vs Webb & Haskins vs Jamoye
I agree with Barry Jones that Haskins looks the worse off, but I feel he hurts Jamoye again he still has a good chance of stopping him, such is the nature of the punches being hurled in there.

Round 6 was amazing! Absolutely amazing.
Re: Friday: Rose vs Webb & Haskins vs Jamoye
Think it's fair to say Haskins could not have given it an ounce more.
That first body shot was a nasty surprise.

What now for Rose?
Re: Friday: Rose vs Webb & Haskins vs Jamoye
Think Haskins could have fought a smarter fight but fair play for going all out - made for a great fight.
Think Lukas Konecny or Sergey Rabchenko would be a good step up for Rose

What about Sugar jackson for the EBU belt or even Jack Calcuy for WBA Inter?JayMc wrote:Think Haskins could have fought a smarter fight but fair play for going all out - made for a great fight.

Rabchenko has the the EBU title. Jackson Bonsu has the EU title.mcato wrote:What about Sugar jackson for the EBU belt or even Jack Calcuy for WBA Inter?
Rabchenko would be the better opponent.
Re: Friday: Rose vs Webb & Haskins vs Jamoye
Rabchenko is too much of a step up in class for Rose. He might just fight the winner of the Commonwealth beltHorse wrote:Rabchenko has the the EBU title. Jackson Bonsu has the EU title.mcato wrote:What about Sugar jackson for the EBU belt or even Jack Calcuy for WBA Inter?

What round was it that Haskins was stopped in?

That might be more sensible.mcato wrote:Rabchenko is too much of a step up in class for Rose. He might just fight the winner of the Commonwealth belt

Rabchenko would be a very tough fight for Rose - He would have to box smart and move as I don't think he could stand and trade with Rabchenko like he did with Webb tonight..
Do you think it is better fighting for the Commonwealth Light Middleweight Title or moving straight ahead into European title level opponents..?
Liam Smith is currently due to fight Steve O'Meara for the vacant Commonwealth Light Middleweight Title - Should Rose fight the winner or not - The general consensus after winning with British title outright is to move on to European level and fighting the winner of Smith/O'Meara could be seen as a step backwards by some people..

I would go WBA Intercontinental belt Jack Calcuy..... That would be a very good fight but Calcuy wouldnt come to BritainJayMc wrote:Rabchenko would be a very tough fight for Rose - He would have to box smart and move as I don't think he could stand and trade with Rabchenko like he did with Webb tonight..
