What about Kirkland Laing's 'natty dread' look, a-la steel pulse 1982.

I seem to recall him having what became one enormous dreadlock.

Yes, Kirkland Lang had some looks - surely he invented the Pineapple.

Audley Harrison vs Derrick McCafferty - Shamon!

Was that the one where Audley came in in the kilt and afro combination, looking like a cross between one of the Hair bears and Highlander?

If someone knows how to put it on here, that would be great.

Why does that poster remind me of Miami Vice?

Mancini does look a little like Don Johnson, and well, anyone with that much slo-glo will look like Tubbs.

This is a genuinely funny thread. I was watching Lennox Lewis last night on that strange African channel, BEN. Lennox was announcing his retirement at the London press conference. He looked silly with his grey suit and long hair. It also jarred when he thanked Canada first, then Jamaica, and finally England, for their support.

Tommy Hearns' Jheri curls against Hagler were quite funny, especially when you see the wet patch on the floor after he got KTF'oed!

I agree with Shannon Briggs, what was he thinking against Lewis with that pineapple? Ronnie Yeo's haircut was good too, it was like my dad's :D How can you look hard with a "do" like that?!

As for ex Forest forward Jason Lee, he ended up leaving for Watford and then Chesterfield before joining Peterborough. I believe he is now entertaining crowds in Scotland with Division one side Falkirk! He has since shaved off the pineapple....and further adding myself to the sad bastard stakes he was featured in a real life version of Footballers Wives a few years ago and his missus blamed Skinner And Baddiel for ruining his career :D

And in his next fight he took Mike "No Joke" Stewart the distance.

Mitchell v Stewart at the MEN is not a fight that gets my mouth watering. In fact after the Rees pull out the whole undercard looks like a pile of wank.

Why does everyone think dreads look daft? I think they're good.
