Smith and his dad haven't spoken since the Hatton fiasco. Shame, really.
Darkie was one of the hardest gipsy bareknuckle fighters of all time but age catches up with everyone. He wasn't hard enough to subdue his fighter Bobby Frankham when Frankham attacked referee Richie Davis in 1987 at the Albert Hall.

ironic that he was trying to restrict someone from attacking a ref.

The Smiths are now talking to each other again, though I don't think Darkie is number one on his son's "People to go for a pint with list".

That's good. It's never nice to hear a father and son aren't talking.

I know Darkie was at ringside when he fought Bosworth, looking very nervous and puffing away, he left ringside with a couple of rounds and moved further away..

Isn't he from a gipsy family? He certainly has that swarthy wild haired look....

What's the association between him and haye though? They don't train together...
I can confirm that Stevie is talking of a comeback, I saw him the other month, however I feel what happened with the Hatton fight (which should never have happened by the way), has taken somthing away from the Hull based london boy.

Did you know that Stevie also starred in a couple of V05 adverts, he is the lad standing in the mirrror running his fingers through his hair.

No chance.

He don't move in those circles.
