Have you seen the fight? Toney was old and fat and still owned Reed. Checked the records and Toney won every fvcking round too
Reed hadn't had a fight for the last year an a half before this fight either

So what? You are making less sense than the teacher hater. Vitaly Klitschko regained his title on his first fight after a three year layoff. The man he beat was supposed to be De Mori's opponent last night and ducked him. The WBA allows a "super champion"18 months to defend his title (unless he is a Tasmanian Aboriginal).

Sure, a fighter who gets piss bowled in three rounds had a great fight. You remind me of the American cousin molester who kept gibbering about Judah winning the first round before Tszyu cleaned him up big time in the second. I gather you have watched every fight since boxers stopped stepping up to the mark? Dickhead!

Go bite your arse.
According to Barry McKenzie these were the rules of the australian Club, Earls Court:
Rule 1: No poofters.
Rule 2: No poofters.
Rule 3: No poofters.
Rule 4: No poofters.
Rule 5: There is no rule 5.
Rule 6: No poofters.
As these are the standard rules for any social organisation who are you to insert a rule 5?

Reed is 40/41 years old and shot. He won't fight again you can bet on that. Same as Calloway.
Old cans. No point trying to make out any different and Weeda was even worse

How old are the Klitschko brothers? You are losing focus.

I read here De Mori is rated 19 by the WBC. Reed was useful at his peak and is now close enough to useless. I just think it is pointless trying to argue a fella is a good opponent when he isn't. Why bother with that?
Peter ducked him, De Mori needed a fight, Reed was willing to fight. It was a stay busy fight. You are getting as silly as Mr Missed-The-Evolution-Joke.

You clearly don't possess any focus. Comparing Reed to the Klitchkos

Checked on Reed he wasn't just between fights he was retired
Peter hasn't fought for a couple of years and is probably retired too.
It has not only been a stay busy fight for De Mori. It has been a stay busy year. Actually it has been a stay busy career but he hasn't even stayed that busy
Why are you trying to pretend his opponents are not cans when it is plain as day they are???

Yes, Reed was retired and late notice, but he surprised me in his fitness and how hard he was for Mark to hit.
He didn't come here and just stand there and take a beating thats for sure, he was pretty fornicating awkward. Mark actually learnt where he was lacking in a few areas, so it was very beneficial in the end. Probably more so than Galen would have been.
Again 2012 wasn't year the punters are probably happy with for Mark, but stringing 4 fights together in 18 months no matter the opposition was a step in the right direction from zero in 2.5 years.
Although they never came off, he was talked about in Wilders, Jennings and Peters camps as opponents. Yes talk is cheap, but hopefully it's only a matter of time till the stars align and he gets one of the chances in 2013.

How did De Mori get WBC 19 after 2.5 years off and 3 tomato cans in a row???

king.
but its just teasing him.
no matter how high mark gets, king will stuff him around.
or he'll make him go straight from fighting boxers with a 300 ranking to a title, or eliminator bout and given him next to zero chance of winning.
i'll cheer for him if he does face a decent fighter but i'll expect him to be well underdone.

So King can get a guy who has had 2.5 years off. Put them in against 3 tomato cans in a row. And then magically get them a #19 ranking? That has got to be costing him money. Someone must be on the take.

I think the comments are justifiable about tomato cans, But if its getting him ranked high in the WBC via DK then good for him.
The closer he gets to a title shot the better.

What good would a fight against Wlad or Vitali for a title be to a fighter who only fights tomato cans and is totally unprepared for even fringe level opposition??

he is just being teased imo.
the ranking is just sucking him in. if king can have kali meehan ranked no.1 for 2 years and still not get him a shot for the title, then the 19 ranking for mark means nothing.
mark will beat another bum and move to 8 or 9 or something and think he has made it on the big stage.
get a different promoter or have no chance.

Its starting to look that way, I really have no answer as it must be hard as fark to try and land the fights you want or need. Then have fighters pull out and work from a short list of backups by way of DK promotions.
I just hope he does land a half descent in the USA.

I don't think King has been the one lining up the tomato cans. I think he just signs off on them. The only way De Mori will land a big fight is if King drops it in his lap. Otherwise it will just be tomato can after tomato can.

Young Mark expresses his deep admiration for Don King in this recent piece:
http://www.smh.com.au/sport/boxing/call ... 2c0ca.html
Whether the great Don will lead Mark to the promised land of riches and quality bouts or will just leave him wallowing in a Red Sea of tomato soup is anyone's guess!

Describing the relationship as 'worthwhile' I'm not sure is 'expressing deep admiration'
