Saw a link on twitter too an interview yesterday with buckland he said Simpson or Ben jones had been mentioned for his voluntary defence, crolla today said he'd been offered the fight but wanted to rematch Derry instead

Ben Jones is fighting Paul Truscott for the European Title.. Seen the press conference with Crolla shocked he wants to move back down thought he was better at lightweight.. I think Buckland v Simpson makes the most sense.. Buckland is very open has said himself he believes he can take anyone's shots at Superfeather so it makes an interesting fight.. After Ronnie's fight in March I would like to see him in with the winner of Jones v Truscott then maybe the British Title could be a massive year :)

WBO-European David, not the EBU title- big difference ....
regardless of titles its still a good fight

Yes I know that... Ha.. So many European titles so many World titles.. Just need to take these steps towards the British title there is also Sykes and hooper aswell they are fighting for the English title.. Super feather could end up bring a very good division

The problem is I don't wanna fight journeymen all the time people pay good money to watch a fight not watch some poor person get beaten up!!! It's very close to bullying!!! I just wanna fight evenly matched fights but it don't seem to happen :( I don't understand y prospects don't fight one another its a shame for the sport! I'm willing to take risks and fight bigger names and be the underdog... If I'm perfectly honest some boxers/promoters/managers should hang there head in shame!!!

Someone like Barrington Brown would be descent opponent at the moment , hes a descent guy whos record is worse than his ability but hes now more on the road , would be somebody that id expect ronnie to beat but would pose a few problems to deal with .

Yeah he is a good lad but I know the only problem he would pose would be the canvas... As I said though I will fight anyone at s/f and if he will accept a fight with me this time round then perfect ;)

Ronnie, I reckon you could be doing with a good old classic Boxrec backed ambush on Eddie Hearn's twitter account.
In my opinion prizefighter is the only way you are gonna get fast tracked the way you are hoping.

I'm a big fan of prizefighter but think it may have run its course... But imagine the prizefighter at this weight... John Simpson, Paul Truscott, Gary Sykes, Stephen Smith, Stephen Foster Jnr, Choi, Terry Flannigan and Ronnie Clark there is a few more aswell would be explosive and so hard to pick a winner..

Jordan McCrorrie would be a good fight if he could get down to SF,I would say he has the more experiance and the busier work rate, but may not match the strength of Ronnie,be interesting to see though.

I would like to know what the problem is too?!?! Why can't I get a fight?!?! :s I ask my psychiatrist all the time what the problem is, but he says maybe they are all running a little scared... I got told just to focus on whoever has enough courage on March 09th to share the square circle with me, then we can take things from there.... I hate being me, every day I look in the mirror and see this hungry kid who just wants that little extra!!! So I go down stairs and have breakfast :p

Go international if you can't get fights, go to France, Italy, Germany etc
Contact promoters over there and you will get high level fights.......can't beat the experience

Has anyone written a book about Tommy? He must have been promoting for about forty years now, I reckon. There must be some stories.

He's written a book called A Boxing Dynasty not read it myself it's more of a biography of the Gilmour family.

Maybe he should as hes rated 17Th in the BBB.C Ratings @ Lightweight and could be 15Th now since C Johanneson might retire and young K Farrell having to pack it in due to injury so that could be the way to go .. Tommy Coyle likes to keep busy and has a few belts or R Taylor hes 36Th but has a international masters title and Ronnie says hes not in it for the money so should be easy to deal with
