Olivia is correct. Lewison was a really decent amateur but he was a lazy so and so even then. He's a classic case of someone with the natural aptitude and physical gifts who has not put the hours in (except for round the dinner table) and wasted his potential. If he takes off 5-10kg, gets fit and has decent sparring he could give any heavyweight in the country a tough night. If he remains bone idle, he'll go nowhere and get turned over by those who are prepared to work that bit harder.

Wow 2 Prizefighters in 2 months guess we no how Eddie plans on filling his 20 show deal, I've got no problem with Prizefighter but there should only be 2 or 3 a year, the formats gone stale the heavyweight tournament has been done to death.The only thing that makes this show appealing is Thomas Stalker making his debut.

Eddie said he's planning on holding approximately 4 Prizefighters this year. That doesn't seem too bad.

It depends what he does with them when he's got a hold of them!

What's also quite funny is the presenters attempts at talking boxing, despite their obvious lack of knowledge. One of them informing Audley he'll have to be wary 'of the likes of Travis Walker' (who he clearly has no idea about) minutes after asking what the transition to Prizefighter will be like from the usual '15 round' fights.

Audley doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who could just walk away and get a normal job but I don't think he'll have earned enough to maintain the lifestyle to which he has become accustomed without working. For a variety of reasons I don't think he'd get much punditry work, his ego is probably too big to be a trainer, and he's already shot his wad in the promotions business. He's done reality TV and there are enough chancers ahead of him in the pecking order to probably close any more of that work off, too. So what does he do? Box on. If I were him I'd like to think I could swallow my pride and get back into the real world and try and embark on a new career out of the public glare. It's his life, though.

I actually think he'd be a pretty good pundit, he does talk well, if a little too much! As you point out though, he's become such damaged goods within UK boxing circles that he'll struggle to get a foot in the door.

During his interview, he kept on banging on about being in 'California's premier hair salon' and said he was involved from a business perspective. Maybe he'll just go down that route - bits here, bits there to top his income up from his boxing earnings.

Champs in the first 6 were Rogan, Sexton, Harrison, Sprott, Perez, Hamer.

Pretty decent list to be honest, add a couple more and it would be a cracking tournament for Prizefighter standards!

Travis Walker is hardly ever in a boring fight. His short fight against Chris Arreola was full of action a few years back. I also enjoyed his fight against Adamek and his 2 fights against TJ Wilson. Big puncher with a poor chin and questionable stamina. I'm looking forward to it

I remember him putting Arreola on his backside in this fight before Arreola got back on his feet and stop him as I remember seeing a video of the post fight interview on HBO where Arreola described Walker as a "strong motherfucker".

Agreed, but you'd have thought that these guys would be professional and do some basic research on whatever they are covering.

The worst I can remember is George Groves being interviewed in the SSN studio after the Degale victory - being asked if a fight with Amir Khan was likely at some point in the future!

And you're right. It's a disgrace that people being paid to provide expertise make basic mistakes like that. But I've become used to it. For some reason, they think because boxing is a sport that requires two people punching each other, any old knobhead can talk about it.

It happens in other sports that aren't football as well. I remember watching sports news about the snooker once, and they referred to John Higgins being the son of the late Alex Higgins. This not only wasn't true, but one is Scottish and one is Irish.

I've been on the station a few times. I did a bit before Haye v Chisora and gave my perspective on a few issues. The next day Al Legedly was on and at the end of the interview the presenter actually said "Thanks for clearing that up, Frank".

A HUGE lack of knowledge in the media generally but, to be honest, the governance of our sport leads to this.
