Dzin played some target practice most of that rd.. Vera had a good first and last 20 seconds.. not enough.

Some of these rounds are tough to score. Dzinzuruk is landing the jab consistently but Vera is connecting with a few big rights which may be grabbing the judges attention. I have it 67-64 Vera through 7

Vera's "level" is largely inconsequential when he's that physical. He's a very strong guy and can bully around better boxers as he has done so several times. People got all up in arms about Mosley drawing with a guy Vera beat but the fact is Vera is bigger and stronger than Mosley and Dzinziruk too even if he may not have the level of craft that they do.

Solid main event here. Vera is doing more damage, and is slightly ahead. Dzinziruk's consistency vs Vera's awkward aggression and strength.
