Had Frank Bruno do a guest after dinner talk and had a few others making an appearance such as Rendall Munroe and Joe Egan and a memorabillia auction
Was a really well run event in the main and all the tables were sold out , only downside was my lad didnt make it past the quarter final having lost a very close decision to Kevin Concepcion , personally thought he should have got the nod but hey thats boxing .
ive never been to an event like this previously , just wondered how common they are ? do they sell well ? im guessing the tables werent exactly cheap either .
I went to this show mate and think your lad got robbed. Conception got the home decision and everyone I spoke to agreed.
There's gonna be an over 16 stone one soon which should be good.
I agree with the gloves being checked and a few of the other issues but it was the first event so things will improve.
The table prices ranged from £500 upwards and all had a 3 course meal.
