What's tickling you Saad?
Seriously, how many heavyweights had Scott LeDoux up and down like a yoyo?
When Greg Page was motivated (as in fighting under Ali-Berbick) he eats David Haye for breakfast. However, if Mr Page has too much breakfast, I don't know. But in my opinion, Page seemed to carry the extra weight without too much difficulty.
As inconsistant as he was, I have to rate Greg Page as a better heavyweight than David Haye.

I'm not sure I'd pick him to beat any of them, especially Berbick, whose strength, athleticism and pressure style with excellent conditioning would've worn Haye down. Page and Tubbs could have their off-nights so its conceivable that Haye could win, but Page was a far more skilled boxer, and Tubbs would likely outwork David. He'd probably outlast Coatzee.
I think throwing Haye in the 80s would help cement how weak today's era is. For starters, he'd STILL be smaller than the majority of top guys. Haye is a shade under 6'3 and if he didn't force-feed himself would drop below 200 lbs. Guys like Witherspoon and Berbick were solid 215-220 lb guys when in great shape, true natural heavyweights.
Haye's lack of a big work-rate(including lacking any consistent jab), plus questionable stamina and durability would see him with lots of issues.
I watched ST Gordon outbox Berbick, I don't see how haye couldn't duplicate that. Agreed that haye 's lack of a jab would be a big problem for him in other eras. His work rate isn't low against guys his own size or close to it.

Page was rarely motivated and there is no extended stretch that I could call his prime. Even when he won the title he had tits. I'm not saying Haye is a lock over any of these guys, I'm just amused at this new found Greg Page was a monster posts. He never was. Snipes was the best he ever looked and he's not better than Haye.
I'd rate Page higher than haye too, this era is laughable and he's done very little in it. That wasn't the question posed.
If you think Greg Page had tits when he was packing blubber, check out Jimmy Young in his twilight years. Jimmy Young invented man-boobs.
I will admit that I give Page more than his due, but I have a soft spot for dead guys.

Jimmy Young was much better than either of them. You mentioned a motivated Page, if he was ever supremely motivated he wouldn't have needed a bra.

Page handed Jimmy his ass for seven, eight rounds, then went into unmotivated mode and let Jimmy back into the fight.
Page was under 225 for fights against David Bey and Berbick…both beat him….under 225 was as motivated as Greg got… He was under 30 years old when he lost to Joe Bugner…a boxer so old he was from a totally different era…
Witherspoon, the Holmes fight apart, always wanted to win ever fight by the closest of margins…why fight for every round when you only need 6 from 10 to win? He jiggled as he walked… He was KO’d in 1 by the limited Bonecrusher… Tim had all the ability in the world but how often did we ever see it?
Berbick was a solid, very strong contender…with limited skill…a hard fight for anyone…but he has defeats to lesser fighters than Haye.
These guys were good. But I get the feeling there’s too many people on here who never combed out their flat-top, think Michael Jackson was really just a kid himself and, when the curtains are closed, jump around their front room pretending to be Leroy from The New York School Of Performing Arts…
Please, don’t try and sell me the 1980s heavyweight scene. It wasn’t gold. It wasn’t even silver…or bronze…

And Trevor Berbick beat the shit out of Muhammad Ali.

After 1985, any semblance of a good Page( as well as a good Dokes) was gone.Berbick got Greg at the right place and right time.Bey probably the same way.
