braehmer's flaky and cleverly - whom i've been critical of - would've had him, even then. it would have been a thriller as with the murat and bellew fights and further complicated by the german's southpaw stance, but the welshman is too strong, fit, hard and wiry (if ragged) for the german, who wouldn't have enjoyed being the visitor.

To those who watched the bout, do you think the decision fair or unfair, and if it was fair could you still make a solid case for Gutknecht winning?
I thought Braehmer just done enough to win but Gutnecht put up a very good performance. I'd never watched Braehmer fight before was surprised how well he can box. Both are very tough Gutnecht esp showed a great chin. If it went either way I couldn't have complained well I could have as I had money on Braehmer
He KOd Hatton and Froch as amatuer so he must have something about him!

He KOd Froch? I've never heard that before - only that he beat him in the amateur world championships.

Yep just researched it he destroyed Hatton inside a round a outclassed Froch. Did Hatton fight in a much higher weight class as an amatuer or Braehmer/Froch fight much lower because there's a big gap between Light-Welter and Light-Heavy??

I seem to recall Hatton was a welterweight for a while as an amateur until Braehmer stopped him twice.

Did he beat Froch by RSCO, RSC, or RSCH? Winning by RSCO (referee stops contest outclassed) then meant that one fighter opened a 15 point lead over the other fighter within the first three rounds; it does not mean that one fighter scored a KO.

That is True, they said that when the Kransqi fight was announced, that if Clev won he would have to face the winner 90 days later (pretty sure i saw that)

So he didnt KO Froch? That would be an entirely different thing to him beating Froch, noone's looked like stopping Froch in the pros and it would mark Braehmer out as a serious puncher if he'd managed that

I think safe to say he didn't. He'd be screaming that from that rooftops if he had done.
