Seriously, take me out of my hometown for a week or more and I'd be cracking up.
I'd last about 15 hours on Claude's journey but good luck to the fella
Kids will change your mind mate

Do you think he can pick Allegedly channel up in the New Zealand hills?
Serious question though, dya reckon Claude still keeps up with the sport?
I'd say definitely not. Will probably catch the odd fight but that's about it. I can completely understand his move. I also have dilemmas about the sport from time to time. I'm also only consumed by the sport about 25% compared to what he was and I could sack it all off at times. His life will have improved immeasurably because of it.
One thing though - the editing of BN has changed hugely since Claude's time. Tris has to do far, far more.

perhaps his lifestlye change completely towards the end of his editorial career, i remember him suddenly becoming gaunt and thin, so much so so that some, including me, questioned his health!... but i suppose now, and did not know at the time, that he was being railroaded down the line of raw veg and yoga, neither of which are commensurate with piling on the pounds. i expect we will see claude with a daft ponytail and dressed all in orange next.

He was great to talk to, not nearly as intense as he came across on TV and happy to chew the fat with boxing fans all day long. His sign-off editor's letter from Boxing News was pretty much a goodbye to the sport, not just the magazine. I think he's an all or nothing kind of guy so wouldn't surprise me if he didn't keep tabs at all.
His article when he sparred a peak Hamed and the Prince took serious liberties with him was a gem.
