I'll be very surprised if Rees gets the better of Broner, and even more surprised if he defeats him.

Broner may be overrated, but video comparisons of the two boxers in action makes it very clear to me that Broner is superior to Rees.

Watched quite a bit of broner recently and was very impressed with the way he dealt with demarco. Rees will give it a go but will get beaten and probably stopped.

Burns on the other hand could give broner a real test.

He'll break Rees down and stop him in five or six. I actually don't want to be proven wrong either. I don't have anything against Rees and I'm putting a bet on him for fun, but I'm much more interested in seeing Broner's in-ring career develop and push-on.
:TU:

Broner is an idiot, or certainly acts up that way, but he looks every inch a potential superstar in the ring.

I like watching Rees and I'd love him to do well here. He's a much better fighter than some give him credit for and is a 100% a top twenty and most probably a top ten lightweight at the moment.

That said though I think this will be a brutal beat down. If Rees wins a round past the second I'd be very surprised and he'll do well to see the eight round in my opinion. It has the potential to be more one sided than even that.......

World class management maybe? But nothing else. Not distrespectfull, good luck to him, just a fact.
What is clearly your opinion that he isn't 'European class' is somehow a 'fact'?

Erm, no it isn't.

It's a load of shite. In my opinion.

It wasn't that long ago when Rees was a so called world champ, that he was ridiculed for being one, as he is so shite :TU: FACT :TU:

I'd be happy to hear your argument about how Rees isn't 'European class'. I suspect it will be incredibly dubious, punctuated by a plethora of utterly wank emoticons in an attempt to disguise this.

Rees is absolutley tailor made for Broner, if it goes 6 rounds then Rees will have done marvellous.

Unlikely Rees looks fantastic in most fights until the middle rounds.

Well if he is then the standard of British boxing has gone down hill. Nothing against Rees at all, but my opinion is based on what I see in his fights and that is Rees is not that good? you must be easily impressed.

Doesn't matter - he isn't going to be competitive against Broner.

Which European lightweights would you pick to beat Rees?
An easy win for Ricky Burns and a good scrap but a win for a fit Kevin Mitchell.

actually it definately makes him Euro level at most, and Burns is world class, so that hardly makes Rees domestic level because Burns would beat him, and "fit" Mitchell or unfit Mitchell, Rees would do him. other than world class Ricky Burns and "well prepared Mitchell" you can't name anybody else? then that means if Rees isn't European class, then there is NOBODY at European class atm.

that's just silly

I dont think you have seen many of his fights if any by the sound of it, you dont have to be a genius to work out that an ex world champion who lost in the 12th round against kotelnic is quite clearly European class.
