Re: Tonight's Boxing
Feck, I stepped out of the room for 30 seconds and was all over! Great shot from Audley

It's car crash television, but it's good.
Re: Tonight's Boxing
Did Audley come out aggressively or was this fella just inept?

Audley backed off from the start until he was on the ropes, waited for Bertino to open up then landed the big left hand after two or three attempts. Bertino didn't know where he was

Re: Tonight's Boxing
He was backing off and going for the counter and eventually landed it right on the button and he was trying to land it so it wasn't a case of a lucky shot. I don't think he would stop Rogan with the shot but Audley does seem to do ok when he has opponents of this kind of standard stunned so who knows.Kilburn wrote:Did Audley come out aggressively or was this fella just inept?

Audley's left hand has always been his danger. Great KO but can he hold off Rogan who knows what to expect? I hope it doesnt clash with the Price fight.

I've never see Hamilton box before, and he looks a really top heavy boxer, think he just shaded the 1st round
Re: Tonight's Boxing
Yes Hamilton is a lump but seems to handle a pace well.

No excuse for 'nuturing' fighters - 8 fight novice Lewison stopping Timo Hoffman in a round
- a massive result.

Lewison gets a stoppage win. Actually looked pretty good I have to say, he probably would have won but Hoffman should have been allowed to carry on.

Terrible stoppage.
Re: Tonight's Boxing
Maybe it's time John Keane gets stopped for "being in no fit state to continue". Absolutely awful.Dioufy wrote:British referees are just the best.

Classic British referee. So squeamish when the 'away' fighter is hurt. Ian doesn't look like a puncher from here either way.

As soon as I saw John Keane was the referee I was like " ere we go, mr.early stoppage" and voila! Lol He should have let Lewisham finish him off.

Re: Tonight's Boxing
i know its a hard job to ref a fight, I thought the 2 other stoppages tonight were spot on. But they were reaction stoppages, in this one the ref had time to look and judge the boxers state, Hoffman looked dazed but not out of it to me.
Re: Tonight's Boxing
John Keane doing his best Ian John-Lewis impersonation, let's see how IJL responds.
Re: Tonight's Boxing
Jesus, McCrory talks some level of shit. "He was gone". Sky party line shite. Good luck to Lewison though, looked handy.
