Most people consider the previous achievements of fighters at lower weight divisions when doing P4P rankings and so do I.

Matthew Hatton is not on the list but satchel is?

Correct, but surely the guys Hatton has lost to are of a higher standard than the guys Satchell has beaten.

I'm no Hatton fan, but the level he fights at is higher than Satchell's'for the time being. He went the distance in two "world title" fights, one of which was in theory a total mismatch in both size and class.

So why are Ricky Hatton and Junior Witter not on your list?

Hatton never lost at light-welter and Witter was world champion. Witter was British champion until a few months ago and has not retired - in comparison to Munroe who retired on the same day as Hatton.

Hatton has world class punch resistance, but he didn't come close to beating the three guys he lost to recently.

Hatton lost to Pacquiao at light welterweight. If Witter had beaten Gavin then he would be in the list, but he didn't.

Rees lost his world title 5 years ago, Witter lost his world title 4 years and 10 months ago, Hatton lost his world title 3 years and 10 months ago and Khan lost his world title 1 year and 3 months ago.

Khan's world level achievements are more recent than the others and therefore carry more weight.

I don't think you get how P4P works
It's about form... if I KO'd all the top 10 Middleweights but my next fight was at Heavyweight I'ld still be ranked higher. If Mayweather moves up to Middleweight, he doesn't start again from the bottom. He stays no. 1
