No it wasn't. It wa a lot wider than the judges had it. Dibb got hit flush in every round but was only landing flush himself rarely. Even the punch stats (which I realise cannot be relied upon too much) had the Russian landing more and more power punches.
Very entertaining fight an bully had a real go but this just proved what leuvano did - billy looks good against limited opponents but can't put it together against world class fighters

Some of the rounds I scored for Gradovich were close and could've fairly gone to Dib, but Dib shouldn't have won more than 4 rounds. After the first few rounds he was consistently outworked, outlanded, hit with bigger punches, and bullied on the inside, especially in the final stages.
Each of the official cards were generous to Dib.

I give only limited weight to 'official' punch stats, but I think these tell the story of the fight. Dib started well and Gradovich started slowly, but the latter warmed up by the fourth, outworking and outlanding Dib in each of the final 9 rounds according to CompuBox.

I had it 114 112 to Gradovich. found it a very frustrating fight to watch. Billy just couldnt get Gradovich going backwards and wasnt listening to Hussein. He was told constantly to move to his right to avoid Gradovichs right, but chose to either back straight up, stand still or move left with his hands down. Billy is a good size at featherweight and needs to start using his size...and listening a little more to Hussein. Was there a rematch clause ??

Billy's manager says there was a rematch clause and he hopes Billy will exercise it.
Might be hard though as he was soundly beaten and its unlikely he would be able to turn the tables on that performance. 2 losses on the trot would really be a blow, so he is probably better off doing the mundine thing - try win a vacant title and stay in aus with it.
I would definitely tune in for a rematch thouhg, it was a very entertaining fight.

I think he may as well go for the rematch. If he wins he can continue making good money with 50 cent in the USA. If he loses maybe Chris John will think of giving him a match in Australia or Indo. Either way another decent pay. As much as I repsect Gradovich, if Billy cant overcome him, his next best option is John (styles make fights). Good luck Kid.

if he loses a rematch, why would john want to fight him?
why would anyone want john to fight someone who has lost their last 2 fights?
