In Wolverhampton Steve Saville used to sell good numbers,and Dean Harrison in the earlier part of their career.
A lot of fighters unless they get to big titles on the TV ticket selling actually decreases, everyone wants to go see their mate/friend/uncle/brother fight when theyre a young lad and its their first few fights, when it becomes the norm less and less turn out - this is usually when unless a fighter has a big promoter behind them, the fighter has to start tacking risky fights, away from home or shorter notice opportunities etc. Well that seems to have happened a lot round the midlands the last few years anyway.
