Well done to Hopkins. He deserved the win. However, his fights are awful viewing. I love boxing, but I find his fights have no real interest for me. It's'far too messy and there is no flow to the action.

Is it wrong of me to want to see him sparked out in a couple of rounds so we don't have to suffer through another predictable snoozefest?

For me Hopkins winning at this ripe old age solidifies just how good Calzaghe was :)

I agree. They tried to say B Hop was past it when Calzaghe fought him, and obviously he wasnt. They tried to say Joe had a padded record and that he just slapped, again not true. He made a real mess of Jeff Lacy, at the time unbeaten. He beat Kessler, something Froch couldnt do. Calzaghe was very special as time has proven.
