I don't think there's enough evidence to suggest that Tito would knock Martinez out. Martinez has been KO'd once and that was before his prime and against Margarito at 147lb. Since then, he's taken flush shots from several top 154lb and 160lb fighters without being stopped. I think Martinez is being seriously underrated here and Trinidad overrated. I've got Martinez winning by late stoppage or a close but clear decision.

Yah there isn't anything wrong with sergios chin, and he was pretty green when he fought Margarito. Pavlik and Chavez are both pretty big punchers, neither could stop him.

Pavlik is an accumulation puncher. Chavez didn't stop him, he certainly could. Neither of them are as potent as Felix and neither of those fights were at 54.

Agreed. Looking at Martinez vs Margarito, not only did he develop as a fighter technically since then but he was a pure boxer with no punch at that stage of his career; you can just look at his skinny body and see he was much less developed strength-wise.

And Tito was not a great pressure fighter; he was more a boxer-puncher and that will play into Sergio's hands.

I think Sergio Martinez beats Felix Trinidad quite handsomely in this one.... Maravilla is an intelligent enough fighter to know that Triniad will start fast and try and take him out, so he will use his superior footwork to create the angles and wear Trinidad down to take a wide points decision in my eyes...
