He's alright Spud, got a bit too wound up by certain posters though but all in all he was a good poster, I know he rubbed a few people up the wrong way but so what.

I genuinely would like Spud back as I would like Boxchat back too. Whether you like or agree with them is irrelevant, posters like this make this forum a much more colourful place. Obv Spud won't divulge all his inside knowledge and often has agendas but he is working in the thick of the action.

I remember asking spud awhile back what he did in regards to boxing and he went mental like he was an undercover spy!

In the past I think he had run a lot of errands, done driving etc but it means he is at the shows, interacting with the boxers, promoters etc

Does a lot of running round at shows, gives out gloves, make sure the fighters get to the ring on time, doing a lot of the small logistical things.

yeah, that is how i feel, i have seen the debates go full circle a couple of times now and although i do tune into fights on a regular basis i am no way the fanatic i was a few years back. My boxing monthly arrived a couple of days back and still havent openned it.
Same here man - I was looking forward to Skelton vs McDermott and I missed it! I watch the heavies now and selected fights of interest.
