I love Fury, but the first quick witted opponent who he starts going on to about his blood, breed and dna will tell him his DNA is of a journeyman. Literally.

I dont know why the Brits are bitching that Fury is acting ungentlemanly, cus this is the sort of stuff us Americans love. Alot of us boxing fans and insiders over here are loving the press conference. And, how often do you ever see Steve Cunningham get rattled or pissed? Hardly ever. So, goes to show round one (as far as psychological warfare is concerned) has went to Tyson Fury. I see Fury either winning a unaminous decision in this fight, much like the Fury/Chisora fight was, or I see Fury's punches wearing Cunningham down and out between rounds 8 and 10.

If Fury does a number on cunningham every plastic paddy in the US is going to be going mental over him.

I think fury is on of the best prospects in the uk ...but i say this now i hope he's got his uncle there when he fights this yank, those emotions will make fight the wrong fight against this guy .

Guaranteeing that one person 'has seen more' than another is a claim about individuals, not broad groups of people. It may be that gypsy life is generally more dangerous and abject than life in American ghettos, but that says little about individual cases, and I don't think anyone on this forums knows in great detail what Cunningham and Fury have each seen and experienced.

Its an educated guess. Just because the US has a load of shitholes does not make them any more terrifying than anywhere else! Its bullshit. And, yes, i probably know in enough detail about Fury's life..... Let them sort it out in the ring, does not matter where they are from.

oh yeah i agree i wasnt agreeing with the other fella i was agreeing with you by mentioning cunningham made the same assumption not seeming to knowing anything about the gypsy culture.

Cunningham, like Chisora before him, seems a bit fazed by Tyson. People who don't seem to be 'the full shilling' can really throw usually confident guys. The question is whether Tyson himself is aware of this and plays on it to get an advantage over his opponents, or whether he's genuinely like this.

Interesting perspective about Fury's effect on people Dookus. Funnily enough the extremely intimidating Sonny Liston was apparently quite fazed by Cassius Clay, who seemed to be a genuine mad man.

Hate to mention men the calibre of Ali and Liston in a thread about Fury and Cunningham, but maybe Fury's half-mad ramblings do disturb his opponents?
