dont think i have mate , since a a child growing up i have watched fights at stow and Appleby fair and seen my fair share of fights ,i might have seen fights as intense but never have i see a bare fist fight as intense as this go on for 18 minutes long, most of good fights (no running) last 5-10 min but at nowhere near that pace.Tomasino wrote:mrpedigree wrote:This for me is the best gypsy fair fist fight i have eva seen on youtube.

Have you seen better ones live or on DVD?
Tell ya what GSP in that same pig barn fight would not last no 18 minutes with the man that won...no chance.MachoMan09 wrote:GSP for me. Whats going on with his KO % .....im always hearing what a big puncher he is but he's only got a 16% KO ratio! Seems odd.curtis wood wrote:ha ha thought it was!! wouldnt want a big right hand off him

I think it will be a long time before we will see a fight up a field or a lane put on youtube anywhere near as good as that .
Put it this way what would you rather watch? a bare fist fair fight like that for 18 minutes or a 25 minutes of a GSP leg hugging UFC fight ?![]()
I watched Simon O'Donnell have one fight and was put down and wobbled then he came back and stopped his opponent ..seems a tough guy but i wouldn't say i have seen anyone over in paddy land fight as well as the guy that won that fight in that video i posted ..that guy was a was tireless .Tomasino wrote:mrpedigree wrote:Tomasino wrote:
I'm no fan of GSP tactics but I thought this fight, though gruelling, was a bit sloppy. Defo two very hard guys, and it was a lot better than Mcginley and the Joyce's sparring matches!
I hope you can answer this for me mate, is Simon O'Donnell, the guy who wants the Joyce's, any good?
I've seen more of him as a fair play man and I notice that he controls a fight and more importantly, the crowd, very very well. He looks like a mad man in the video to Joyce bros, but at the fights he handles he is very calm.
Depends on what sort of fight. Under MMA rules GSP would finish it in double-quick time.mrpedigree wrote:Tell ya what GSP in that same pig barn fight would not last no 18 minutes with the man that won...no chance.MachoMan09 wrote:GSP for me. You know what i meant , I didnt mention mma rules so why bring them up ?, i said GSP in that same pig barn fight would not last no 18 minutes with the man that won..and i am rightDeserter wrote:Depends on what sort of fight. Why did you compare them to an MMA fighter if he's not able to use MMA skills?mrpedigree wrote:

GSP ent got 2 hands like that fella in that video nor chin ,or would GSP be used to that type of rule set,no gloves,no rounds or rests , and just punching...he would be in trouble .
Get a grip man! GSP is an elite-level professional athlete and not some ex-amateur boxer!mrpedigree wrote: GSP ent got 2 hands like that fella in that video nor chin ,or would GSP be used to that type of rule set,no gloves,no rounds or rests , and just punching...he would be in trouble .
Mate your preaching to the choir ,i train mma and bjj ,got mates that fight pro , i spar a fair bit with mma guys and to be fair a very few have terrific boxing .liamlion wrote:Get a grip man! You won't find better conditioned or fitter athletes than top level MMA fighters - a lack of rest would not be a problem for GSP. Go on youtube and watch some of his training videos.
On what ?? i want some of it what ever it ishurlock wrote:The bald geezer won on fitness to me it looked like he was on somthing how he was bouncing off the walls.
I'm not telling you anything, other than the fact that you won't find a fitter fighter than GSP.mrpedigree wrote:Mate your preaching to the choir ,i train mma and bjj ,got mates that fight pro , i spar a fair bit with mma guys and to be fair a very few have terrific boxing .liamlion wrote:Get a grip man! So your telling me that GSP with his safety first hide behind the jab style and granite chin would of beat that boxer in that type of bare fist fight ...sorry mate i cant see where GSPs boxing would match up,hes always shooting from the changing rooms
