Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Nicchi is Italian but they keep showing the Polish flag when they show his profile. WTF?
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
They hadn't got to the main events yet, the first few undercards were definitely mismatches.Baby Face Finster wrote:This card has been horrible so far. Total mismatches.

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
That was a nice KO.
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Grachev vs Erdei next...I expect we'll finally see a fight that goes more than a few rounds on this card.
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Fight isn't legit till Erdei enters the ring.gilgamesh wrote:Grachev vs Erdei next...I expect we'll finally see a fight that goes more than a few rounds on this card.
Will he pullout backstage?
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
rather be ko's undercard, rather than waste time. The guys who won are all nice prospects and they beat decent club fighters. I like the idea

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Grabchenko has some of the worst uppercuts I've ever seen and the fact that they were stunning Nicchi was pathetic.
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Did he actually do that before? I know I keep hearing people ragging on him lately about that sort of thing, I've never followed Erdei's career all that closely though, so I don't get the joke. Fill me in on it if you don't mind.Blodhemn wrote:Fight isn't legit till Erdei enters the ring.gilgamesh wrote:Grachev vs Erdei next...I expect we'll finally see a fight that goes more than a few rounds on this card.

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
The announcers are so over the top it's ridiculous.
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Grachev has the nickname "Drago's Son" now and is wearing his hair like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky IV

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
It almost seems natural given how over the top the announcers have been but Drago's Son...seriously son?gilgamesh wrote:Grachev has the nickname "Drago's Son" now and is wearing his hair like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky IV

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
I went over to Erdei's boxrec record because I couldn't remember who he fought recently and LOLed when I realised I couldn't remember because there wasn't anybody. He's a tough guy as the Fragomeni fight proved but I never liked his attitude towards the sport and think he might quit in there with Grachev. Can we all just agree to forget/ignore his claim as linear 175 lb champ?
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
The Pirate was one of the better nicknames in the sport. Drago's Pirate Son would've been a good mix.
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
10-9 Erdei
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV

As shit as some of you guys think Erdei is he won that first round and showed better skills than Grachev.
Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
1-1 Grachev landed a lot already.

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Erdei should show better skills. He had 232 amateur bouts, won Olympic Bronze, the WBO & linear light heavyweight titles and (on paper) successfully defended them 11 times before moving up to cruiserweight and winning a title belt there as well. Sillakh showed better skills early too. He eventually ran out of gas and got mowed down. That's my expectation here.

Re: GGG vs Ishida PPV
Erdei can win this fight solely with his jab if he uses it enough.
