Nicchi is Italian but they keep showing the Polish flag when they show his profile. WTF?

They hadn't got to the main events yet, the first few undercards were definitely mismatches.

Grachev vs Erdei next...I expect we'll finally see a fight that goes more than a few rounds on this card.

Fight isn't legit till Erdei enters the ring.

Will he pullout backstage?

rather be ko's undercard, rather than waste time. The guys who won are all nice prospects and they beat decent club fighters. I like the idea

Grabchenko has some of the worst uppercuts I've ever seen and the fact that they were stunning Nicchi was pathetic.

Did he actually do that before? I know I keep hearing people ragging on him lately about that sort of thing, I've never followed Erdei's career all that closely though, so I don't get the joke. Fill me in on it if you don't mind.

Grachev has the nickname "Drago's Son" now and is wearing his hair like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky IV

It almost seems natural given how over the top the announcers have been but Drago's Son...seriously son?

I went over to Erdei's boxrec record because I couldn't remember who he fought recently and LOLed when I realised I couldn't remember because there wasn't anybody. He's a tough guy as the Fragomeni fight proved but I never liked his attitude towards the sport and think he might quit in there with Grachev. Can we all just agree to forget/ignore his claim as linear 175 lb champ?

The Pirate was one of the better nicknames in the sport. Drago's Pirate Son would've been a good mix.

Erdei should show better skills. He had 232 amateur bouts, won Olympic Bronze, the WBO & linear light heavyweight titles and (on paper) successfully defended them 11 times before moving up to cruiserweight and winning a title belt there as well. Sillakh showed better skills early too. He eventually ran out of gas and got mowed down. That's my expectation here.

Erdei can win this fight solely with his jab if he uses it enough.
