well mate he owns a franchise in greggs and has about 12 shops and to put it blunt he dont like to wast anything

I already knew this last week but was waiting til it was official but Shane McPhilbin is in this prizefighter and says hes in it to win it , i hope he comes in hungry because if he does then hes in with a shout in this format .

Im also led to believe Hari Miles is also confirmed .

I would have thought David Dolan would have had one last final fling of the dice at this after his recent defeat

Only last month your going on and on about how Shane admitted to you after my lad stopped him that it was only because his heart was not in it no more and he's only gonna be a journeyman now, boxing is only about the money for him now, it's to pay the bills etc etc. So are you saying now the Shane will be bothered and train but only for prizefighter, on that day he won't be a journeyman, he will pick and choose what fighters he will be bothered for ?

I dont know to be honest mate , simple as that , he says hes in it to win it , maybe he needs this to get him up for it , but i suppose we will see on the night , i think even being in the quarter final only would likely be a better pay day than he got for boxing keane so who knows , maybe he will be happy to just turn up and get paid but personally i believe that anyone in prizefighter competitions will feel theyve got a chance of winning it , if it helps his fire return then im all for it , but lets not be mistaken here , shane on his best day can be a handful but hes not great , we dont really know what keane is going to turn out like just yet but shane is i think his biggest test so far isnt he ? lets see where chris is in 2 fights time rather than going over the same debates as its a bit pointless , and you say im a funny fella

I'll do the down a beer bit, everything else is too much trouble. I tend to go with the drink as much beer as possible within a three hour show strategy.

Also, I dress up in my Union Jack clothes.

Boxingcutsman, Is Keane in this one? If he is then i'd have to go with him to win.

I think Tony Conquest will do well in this line up..... We'll find out soon enough!

One of my home losses years ago but I've not boxed at home in nearly 3 years.

I'm going to have a small bet on Hari Miles in this one, if he gets himself out of sparing partner mode and gets himself in decent shape, he's a problem over 3 rounds for them.

What i mean is you already have 2 journeymen types in Mcphillbin&Miles in this PF,you might normally get one in a prizefighter for the Rocky story effect..i dont mean any malice&i certainly aint slating the journeymen in the game...to be honest PF has well&truly ran its course with me,it bores me to tears now(even tho i did win on Audley)

I like Paul he has boxed a lot of hard bouts some heavyweights too pushing them hard, look at what Terry Carruthers achieved? Oil Mckenzie? I don't think it does the show any harm to be honest rather see Paul than some old shot fighter!!!best of luck Paul
