Great fight.

Terrible undercard though.

Donaire is my favourite fighter. He has all the tools. Rigo will be tough but I'd go with Nonito in this one.

Nonito for me. I think he may win by KO around 7. I might put a ten spot on it.

I think Donaire might be one of the very best. Time will tell but he has had some amazing performances. The way he handled Arce (though faded) was exceptional. That's not even close to his best.

Don't know exactly why, given I accept it's not far off a 50/50 fight, but I've got a sneaky suspicion Rigondeaux is going to take this fairly clearly on points. Just think his style could give Donaire issues he's never experienced before.

I'm thinking the same. 10/3 points looks good value.

If Rigo shows some Pernel Whitaker style skills and frustrates Donaire, he could well get that points win.
He's been rocked a couple of times, but might be hard to nail twice....Donaire will need to be at the top of his game to take out the Cuban, but he hits seriously hard & Rigo will have to be walking a tight rope for all 12 rounds.
I'll go Donaire KO8

HBO also say 11pm ET fight time (5hrs behind GMT)

That's late for an east coast marquee bout if you ask me. It's usually 9.30pm.

AND REMEMBER!

If you are taping it you better make sure to tape Mayweather Vs Cotto straight after or you may miss the main event, I did the last time I taped something from allegedly.

I think this could go early, although I can't get it as it seems I need Sky or Virgin to get allegedly. I'd be prepared to subscribe just for a replay of this but it seems it's not to be. I think the little fella could clip him early.

I think people are underestimating Donaires boxing ability on here. He's a very good counter puncher himself.
