Re: Steve USS Cunningham Interview

Cunningham should stop whining, I don't care if he got forearmed into the corner or not, the ref didn't call it, play carried on and he got smashed.
NorthEastBoxingFan wrote: so you were deliberately ignorant and rude to the guy for kicks and despite putting Fury on the seat of his pants heavily, you think Fury "got inside his head" which made Steve get knocked out? Nothing to do with becoming exhausted and trying to fend off a huge fella that's mauling you? That's complete garbage.
Thats what i thought but Cunningham was clearly hurt and tired and hence too dazed to move he was on his way out the US commemtator said he thought Cunningham was finished literally a second before Fury caught him with the right.Ezzard wrote:The forearm was weird. Fury clearly did it but I wondered why Cunningham wasn’t moving away from the arm then…it was all over…
To be fair to him though atleast he has had a pro fight! Whilst he's pretty atrocious he wasnt just being an armchair fan.G0mez wrote:The interviewer is Rufus Defibaugh, and is a journeyman![]()

worse than an armchair fan. If anything he should have had more respect. Cunningham should have been more selective than to get involved with a 2-cent production like this. This moron is getting publicity of the back of Steve Cunningham's good nature, which isn't right. Professional fighter? He's been about as close to being in Cunningham's bracket as my nan, the tosser.columbo wrote:To be fair to him though atleast he has had a pro fight! I get the point you're making and its very valid. I was talking in the sense that he's been in the ring so he's experienced how tough boxing is. Its true though actually that he should understand even more so Cunninghams predicament because of that.NorthEastBoxingFan wrote:worse than an armchair fan. Fury's arm-raise looked even worse in slow motion, it certainly wasn't a legal boxing manoeuvre. I wouldn't be surprised if we haven't heard the end about that. And that dick on the radio, not sure whether it was Rupert Dickhead or the other guy couldn't even correctly identify which hand he hit him with.
You've gotta be fornicating kidding me regarding the last sentence?! I bloody hope so haforcefraser wrote:I think it was the upercut to the body about 15 seconds before the knockdown that finished Cunningham. he took a huge one to the gut, then one to the noggin on the ropes, then the forearm strangler.
Gotta give it to Fury, he is in some great fights. I really hope he gets the winner of Price v Thompson.
There was a rumour kicking about that he was going for a rematch with Matthew Ellis, the first billion dollar athlete.
He posts on here, right? BOTP and CS...G0mez wrote:The interviewer is Rufus Defibaugh, and is a journeyman![]()

Wow, you must be so proud of yourself.
Almost makes you a better man than Cunningham really doesn't it.HomicideHenry wrote:I didn't make excuses in the aftermath of my match either.columbo wrote:To be fair to him though atleast he has had a pro fight! HomicideHenry wrote:It was all in show on my end. It was part of an act, and some of it was real. My opinions were real, but the tone, the attitude, etc was the act. Had we all just sang koombaya and held hands and kissed Steve's ass it would have made for a boring interview. Out of this, we get to see a side of Steve Cunningham I dont think anyone else has ever seen. Don't take it too personal, I was originally in the pro wrestling business and was just playing the heel. HOWEVER, I think what I proved in a sense, is if a little nothing peon like myself could get Cunningham infuriated, its really no wonder how Fury got inside his head and eventually knocked him out.Tomasino wrote:HomicideHenry wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2X7NfUd ... e=youtu.be
Seems that Steve USS Cunningham is more than a tad upset with having lost to Fury, and is more than irate if anyone so much as says Fury beats him fair and square. This is a clip from one of the biggest meltdowns in Internet boxing radio history which happened last night. BTW, Cunningham is also filing a lawsuit and petition to the New York State Athletic Commission to over turn the decision (as he claims Fury used many illegal tactics in the fight) and is wanting the referee to be punished.
You made a complete and utter fool of yourself there Rufus. If you'd have been face to face with Steve you'd have been kissing his arse.
Real fighters like USS Cunningham deserve respect
