I didn't even know Diaz vs Khan was happening today. Turned out to be a better fight than most expected. I actually expected Diaz to give Khan a bit of a test, but he's apparently testing him more than I thought.

How did he make it through that fight then? He has a bad chin, but people exaggerate, if it was as bad as you're making out he would have lost this fight.
Diaz isn t a big puncher just like Rover said imagine Matthysse in there and he is not surviving!! Maybe he can fight Malignaggi until he end his carreer and he ll be ok!

Good stuff from Diaz, Khan's heart is amazing for how badly he gets hurt. I think he just cost himself a Mayweather paycheck in September.

Ok you are a fan of Amir and i can appreciate his speed footwork and style but he can not face elite opponent each time he will go down badly! Sorry dude nothing against you but Amir is a chinny fighter

He gets hurt far too often. Diaz isn't a huge puncher and had Khan hurt 4 or 5 times. :KO:

Yep Julio Diaz giving you just about all you can handle isn't going to make too many peoples mouth water to see you against one of the very best Boxers in the sport.

What? It would be more because he is against one of the best punchers than Khan being chinny.

Khan doesn't have the best chin, but if it was as bad as people say, he would have lost tonight. And the KD was due to footwork rather than chin.

What?

Are you confused?

Why does facing a big puncher mean that a bad chin cannot be a decisive factor in deciding the outcome? It may be that if Khan cannot withstand punches from LM that he could if he weren't chinny.

Why?
Because Mattysee stops fighters with decent chins, saying he would beat Khan because he has a bad chin is absurd. If his chin was that bad light punchers would stop him, and they don't. He clearly has a poor chin but it's nowhere near as bad as people make out.
And what if Matthyse only lands punches on Khan that most fighters, but not Khan, could survive?

Or it could just be because Matthyse throws bombs? Your reaching to make the point valid. It just isn't.

If Matthyse catches Khan on the chin, I expect him to sleep. Just like most others.

That's the strangest question I've ever been asked on here, and I have no idea how to answer it.

My point still stands, a bad chin is cracked by light punchers, pointing to the best puncher in the division is a ridiculous measure for such an alleged poor chin.
Why is it strange?

Khan is very fast on his feet and LM will likely have problems catching him cleanly. It may be that LM can only connect regularly with glancing shots that Khan could hold if his chin weren't poor.

You're suggesting that a poor chin cannot be a decisive factor in a bout involving punchers, and I think that's just as laughable as claiming that Khan would lose to a big puncher because of his chin.

I haven't suggested it can't be a deciding factor
So can it or can't it? And if it can, why is it laughable to suggest that he would lose because he's chinny?

I'm not reaching at all.

Khan's poor chin may prevent him from surviving in situations which more durable fighters could survive, and that could lead to a Khan loss when he would've otherwise won.

I never said he wasn't, and I'm not a big fan so don't start that childish nonsense. If he was as chinny as you make out a light puncher would stop him, and he wouldn't have been able to take what he took tonight. He will lose when big punchers land on him,, it's been that way since he was going life and death with blown up super feathers but his chin is nowhere near as bad as people make out.
There you go.
