Bob Foster vs. Jorge Ahumada

I'm surprised Las Vegas was being considered for Conteh/Ahumada.

Mickey Duff had booked Wembley for September 10, 1974 way back in February 1974, expecting
Bob Foster vs. John Conteh.

Bob Arum even got into the picture, trying to book Bob Foster vs. Jorge Ahumada 'The Rematch'
in either Las Vegas or New York for September 1974.

Teddy Brenner also chirped in with an offer for the Bob Foster vs. Jorge Ahumada 'Rematch' at
Madison Square Garden.

Everybody wanted the 'old' Sheriff Bob.

I'm just surprised Ahumada/Conteh was planned (or proposed) for Vegas.
