Chisora needs to win this or else I'm not sure what is left for him.
He's lost to Haye, Vitali, Helenius and Fury in 4 of his last 6 fights. His two wins were against bums so he really needs a win against a live opponent.
Ok so he may have got robbed against Helenius but the fact is he lost. He can't continue to be a whipping boy for those that harbour world class aspirations.

Chisora will be favorite, he's got a bit of seasoning about him, unlike the very raw Wilder, who's pretty much fought nothing but tomato cans. He might not even be much of a puncher, he's not fought anyone decent yet.
And Del looks to have a very decent chin - I reckon he'd KO the big American - I wouldn't fancy the fight at all if I were backing Wilder.

They announced Vasquez too several times, and how many pressers did he attend ? He wasn't at the one where Ricky sat alone in a Scottish Mexican restaurant.
It's the same trend again, fight gets unveiled, whilst the opposition tell BS they're not interested.
I hate to put a downer on this, because it's a really nice fight. But I can't see anyone buying a ticket until the first bell rang, given the amount of shows they have canned without a second thought, despite fighter's fans booking travel and accommodation in London to attend it. Twice in Burn's case.

Great fight....if it actually happens i will be shocked. Expect the bog standard pull out the week of the fight with a shocking replacement like last time.

I imagine that's a confusing meal.

Large Dan Rafael has tweeted that he has been told by Golden Boy that there is no agreement. Doesn't sound ideal.

Then again, maybe Wilder has been a bit too preoccupied to sign a contract in the last few days.

I genuinely hope it happens, but already GBP, Rafael and Deontay are hardly filling anyone with confidence.
With regards Del Boy, if he turns up anything like his last outing, he gets wrecked in a round. He was completely dire.

i think chisora wins this. He has good movement, bobs and weaves, works the body and snaps in wild head shots out of the blue, wilder can certainly bang but he doesnt seen to have the same accuracy as haye so i think it maybe another price v thompson style fight.

great match up, wilder is a banger but is wild, chisora can tag too but he can also hold a shot.

Dan Rafael's twitter is pretty interesting - apparently the fight isn't signed yet
Schaefer on Warren's Wilder-Chisora release: 'We sent them like 4 emails telling them not announce it & sure enough they go & announce it.'

Defo fancy Chisora to take this if the same chisora turns up who fought vitali/helinius however like I mentioned earlier I just cannot see this happening. Just waiting for the bog standard big punching ultra padded record south american whos never fought 10 miles outside from his village- replacment to be announcend on fight week.

This is a joke. Wilder will have visa issues if his legal problems aren't resolved and with barely a month til the fight, that can't be guaranteed. Then you hear that Golden boy matchmaker has told Warrens team to hold off for the same reasons and that no contract has been signed. Problem is that the damage is done - tickets will be sold on the back of a fight that was never in place and when the late replacement is announced, or Chisora is dropped from the card, the paying fans will be the ones who lose out. Such shameless contempt for the UK boxing public.

Agreed. Got a couple of texts off people who are fairly into boxing but probably not regulars on forums etc. They were really up for this fight and talking about buying tickets, I did tell them to hold off and as soon as I saw about what fat Dan was writing I made sure I forwarded the article onto them. Half of me thinks how can anyone jump in and buy tickets for a Warren show this far out, but then the other half of me thinks a lot of people have a bit more of a life than me and don't read these sites all day

so might be a bit more unaware of what is likely to happen.

At this point if it's not Skelton or more likely Rogan in the opposite corner I'll be amazed.

I'd have liked to attend this but after the Burns v Vazquez and other debacles I'm not buying a ticket until much nearer the time (i.e. a few days before the fight) if at all.
