Bruno, Holyfield, Tyson and Lewis. Massive names from home and abroad, all from pretty much the same era, all fought each other with the exception of Bruno-Holyfield, all got some serious stories to tell, and all get on OK with each other whilst having enough of a friendly rivalry to make things potentially interesting.

I've not seen the SM one yet, but I actually think the 'dream' group for that would be Watson, Eubank, Benn and Collins. Jones Jr, whilst a huge name, is a bit 'out of it' from that group and Calzaghe a bit young.
Benn was meant to be on it but couldn't make it..

I know he gets a lot of unfrair stick on here but I really can't stand Johnny Nelson on these kind of programs. He ruin's it for me personally, nice enough fella and quite a knowledgable figure in the sport but asks the most random and shite questions known to man. Half the time he doesn't keep on topic and overall spoilt it for me.

Overall I enjoyed the show and liked listening to Eubank and RJJ - If ever there was a man to "sit on the fence" then Richie Woodall is him hahaha never one to take sides but I do like him a lot alway talks sense and is humble and honest.

Thought Collins was a bit too arrogant but liked the banter and also liked Joe calzaghe's input when he was questioned about playing it safe and never coming out of the valleys to fight the big names :TU: Tried to play it down as just business :witzend:

You would need serious security for Schaeffer and Arum to be in the same room together, let alone sitting at the table.

Floyd with anyone I would love to see.

My dream four would be:
Floyd
Leonard
Hatton
Tszyu
I dont think it would be that bad! ... arum is 80 odd and can hardly brawl! They'd probably just refuse to speak to each other!

Just watched the show. Liked it, some good insights and funny banter. A few points of constructive criticism, however....

Nelson - On the whole, I really like Johnny. I think he is at his best when he is a fight night analyst or in a roving reporter role (e.g. when he went to Gleason's), and he pulls off Ringside as a co-presenter. Here, though, I feel he is out of his depth. Too often he lets things dwindle with too many vague questions which lead to irrelevancies. I also feel he goes into 'fighter mode' too frequently, talking about his own experiences, which, to be frank, aren't relevant. I'd prefer Gary Newbon.

The Fighters - 5 is too many. Leads to too many situations where 2/3+ fighters are clashing. I like spice but it becomes pointless when it is just multiple voices trying to stick their oar in. It's also so important to get the perfect blend of personalities/rivalries in. I know it's difficult if people are unavailable etc. (like Benn for this show), but for these 'specials' it's perhaps best to wait and do 1-2 per year and get it perfect. Woodhall and Jones Jr didn't offer enough, purely for the fact that they were slightly less integrated from the other rivalries - Jones in particular, who was only centric when talking about something that DIDN't happen (the Collins fight) - to be honest I'm only really bothered about discussing things that did occur.

Imagine if you added Benn and Watson to Eubank and Collins. Now that would be can't miss TV!

Agree nelson is great as a roving reporter, funny and amusing.and a great pro who offers real insight.i just feel this onecwas more suited to a pro like newbon or robinson thats all.

It wouldnt work as Khan and Brook are too immature. Part of the charm if you like of the SM one was the restrained tension between for example Collins and Eubanks or Collins and Calzaghe. Sometimes it is time which makes these things so sweet.
Plus to be honest apart from Hatton none of those have anywhere near the out of the ring charisma or verbal abilities of this historic sm bunch. Benn and Watson were great talkers too

Immense I don't think so. Witter would be at Hatton all night long. Khan and Brook would go at each other throughout the show. That fight is too close to happening for them to be on it.

Witter shouldn't even be considered for the show. Will be surprised if Hatton isn't on it soon.
