Does it? Because Hearn hasn't hidden the fact he wanted the Quigg fight, I can't help feeling that McGuigan doesn't (Hearn mentioned that McGuigan was looking at potential world title routes instead). I think there is a pretty high chance that the fight was MUCH more likely to happen under Hearn.

Of course Hearn wants the Quigg fight, it's a great fight. That doesn't mean he wants to pay the boxers what they are worth for the fight, though, does it?

We dont know what deal they got with FW, also what weight is Luke Campbell going to be fighting at? Hearn really made it clear he was a priority for him. I wouldnt want to be stabled with him if he's fighting at super bantam or is likely to be very shortly and hearn has stated he's the one who he will be making the priority.

How many decent fights has hearn delivered? Maybe fighters in the stable are concerned he cant deliver.

Well he has deliverd Bute and Kessler for Froch and matched Brook well until the injury getting him a world title fight without options just a shame about the injury.He got Barker a fight against the best in the world and now and has got him in a winnable world title fight against Geale.Also Rees and Purdy got great paydays and can come again and Rees did well with the European title and fought regulary.Framptons last fight was a step up in a European title fight and Bellew has just been made mandatory so all in all I think he has shown in a short space of time that he can deliver for his fighters and I`m sure he would of got Frampton a world title shot

How hard is it to get froch a good fight? Brook hasnt actually fought at world level yet if and buts dont result in fights, Bellew had already fought for a world title with FW, Purdy was put into a fight everyone knew he couldnt win i dont agree that he can now come again his level has been shown. Rees got a good fight id agree on that, Barker got martinez and now geale but who hasnt managed to get a fight with martinez.

I like hearn but putting fighters into fights they cant win and doing relatively little with the others; other than the ones who were already getting big fights isnt that impressive.

Getting Bute and Kessler in the UK is an achievement,getting Bute over here was proberly his best move he has made as a promoter imo.He delivered for Purdy a great opportunity which nobody ever thought he would get but it was a poor fight and of course he can only come again at domestic level but the fight was a chance in a lifetime for him.Brook got injured it happens but the chance was there.I don`t count Cleverly as world champion myself and now Bellew has got a shot at the champ at the weight with no options.The Geale fight is a great fight for Barker which you have glossed over.I`m saying he has done okay,i think he needs to get creative with Brook and stop waiting for the IBF and he need to get World title fight over here for the likes of Groves and Brook

Barry will build up Frampton into a superstar in Ireland, big crowds, people talking...then the terrestrial stations might come calling too...who knows.

Yeah I agree with this. Ireland may be a small country in terms of population, but if marketed right, when they get behind a fighter, the fighter becomes a superstar. Look at Bernard Dunne for example - fighting on terrestrial TV RTE and selling out the O2 in Dublin. The TV market share when Dunne fought was enormous.

People are quick to jump on McGuigan being selfish, but Barry is still a big name in Ireland and over there may well be where Framptons financial future lies, so on that basis a co-promotion makes a lot of sense.
