rip dawson. one of the most overrated fighters i've ever seen.
Pascal beat him too.Blodhemn wrote:Told yall. Diddy and everyone who thought only Ward is good enough to beat Dawson. What do you say now?
Wasted talent at its best.EduardosFist wrote:rip dawson. one of the most overrated fighters i've ever seen.
Ward has an exciting fresh opponent. Froch probably wouldn't even fight him unless it's in England.polecateddy wrote:And immediately Froch has an exciting fresh opponent instead of endless rematches.
Big off Yankie! Ward is about as interesting as watching paint dry!dajuggernaut wrote:Ward has an exciting fresh opponent. Froch probably wouldn't even fight him unless it's in England.polecateddy wrote:And immediately Froch has an exciting fresh opponent instead of endless rematches.
The result of Ward/Stevenson may be interesting. Probably a likely Ward shut-out. Froch/Stevenson on the other hand would be an exciting, unpredictable war. And probably a genuinely memorable contest.dajuggernaut wrote:What does interesting have to do with anything?
The Dawson fight was very interesting, Kessler was an exciting fight. Froch wasn't bad. Bika was a good physical fight. I didn't care much for the Green fight. Ward boring is made up because people can't knock his skills.
Froch is probably far better box office. Probably he can fight both.dajuggernaut wrote:All of Ward's fights are likely to end in a wide decision, So he's not supposed to fight the top guys because it's a foregone conclusion?
He can fight Froch as a comeback fight. I bet Stevenson is more interested in fighting the top dog instead of someone ranked lower anyway.
That's not fair to him, he's had a very good career I think he can still come back. He got caught cold in the 1st round, it happens sometimes...Dawson's still young enougn and skilled enough to come back and do something in the sport. 2 KO losses in a row though, he's definitely going to want to dial back the difficulty of competiton for his next few fights I'd have to think.EduardosFist wrote:rip dawson. one of the most overrated fighters i've ever seen.

Lets hope Ward stays out of the picture, his style makes Sven Ottke look entertaining!Butterbean wrote:Thats a fight to make next. Let stevenson and froch go at it. Looks like stevenson has a pretty good depth to his punch.
I dont think Eddie Hearn will want any part of Stevenson for Froch. You have to remember that Stevenson was the mandatory for the IBF strap when that was the sole belt that Froch was holding. Hearn didnt want any part of it then! Froch himself would be willing to fight him I think as Froch will fight anyone but Hearn would stop it from happening I think. Also Bellew is the mandatory for Stevensons title now!Butterbean wrote:Thats a fight to make next. Let stevenson and froch go at it. Looks like stevenson has a pretty good depth to his punch.
If Stevenson does a number on Bellew, as he should do really, then it hypes up the Froch fight a bit more. They could do a double header with Froch fighting say Martin Murray. Froch reckons he has 2-3 years left in the sport, so Ward can keep for the finale.columbo wrote:I dont think Eddie Hearn will want any part of Stevenson for Froch. Yeah but who is Hearn more likely to put Froch in with ... a relative unknown in stevenson or put froch in with Groves in a big money domestic fight? Also he promotes Groves aswell so it makes sense.polecateddy wrote:If Stevenson does a number on Bellew, as he should do really, then it hypes up the Froch fight a bit more.
