With due respect please check your facts before referring to them as inactive. Ive just signed Dallas and Larry and Akinlade. You make it sound as if my boxers are inactive which could not be further from the truth. It was not hard to check you only had to look at the Box Rec schedule

With regards to your mediocre comment you are obviously entitled to your opinion but we will see.

Good got a response then. As for the inacative i know they have fights coming up but they haven't been that active of late was what i meant. Sorry to hear about AJ Carter I did wonder if there was an injury.

AJ will be out on September 7th then October 8th.

Ive only just signed the other three.

Ian was due to fight April show in Grays but he pulled out injured.

We are doing shows 29 June, 13 July, 7 Sep, 8 Oct Nov and Dec so inactivity wont be a problem for any of our boxers if they stay fit!

I think its harsh to call for example Lewison mediocre after beating Hoffman. If you call into question his conditioning and fitness thats fair enough but you dont beat Solis and Helenius as an amateur and reach world number 4 in that sphere and have mediocre ability.

Akinlade actually beat Lewison as an amateur and he isnt mediocre.

AJ has only just started out and only had 5 amateur fights so harsh to call him mediocre at this stage.

Tom and Larry what has happened so far is for you to see. I would hope with my guidance and not taking the wrong fights at the wrong time you may change your opinion in time.

Anyway thanks for the post and thats why I love boxing. We all have different opinions!!!

Cheers for the reply I am actually something of a closet fan of Lewison just wish he was fitter. You are right the mediocre comment was harsh about him and was really aimed at Dallas and Larry O also i enjoy your podcasts so i am not meaning to have a go at any of your fighters or your promotional outfit I know it must be tiresome having to deal with all the negativity there is on forums like this in addition to the difficulties inherent in promotion so i apologise if i have added to that.

My views are similar to that of Dwain Chambers. He is free to make a living etc but being clean now doesn't really matter. Chambers, for example, is still "benefitting" from the PEDS he used yonks ago.

Lillywhite i am not trying to come across as arrogant but how exactly has dwain benefitted continously from past steroid use? He hasnt broken ten seconds since he came back to the sport, something he did with regularity when on steroids and his avearage time now are way down on what his average was while on.

Well I did say "benefitting"

He is finished now obviously but you can argue he managed to say relatively competitive when he came back due to the PEDS he used in his 'first' career.

I remember reading something about an expert using him as a prime example as to why athletes should receive lifetime bans for PED use. Athletes can still feel the benefit of the usage years after they stop using them. Changes etc have already taken place that otherwise wouldn't have happened naturally I guess ( I'm no expert )

How rife do you think it is in the heavyweight division/boxing in general in this country Larry?

Lillywhite I really dont wanna get into that but u all have better ideas now since quite a few have been caught. But ben johnson is an athlete who was rubbish when he came off the drugs and so had to go back on so that expert u talk about doesnt have his facts straight

Got friends who use & are big lads now they won't shrivel down to 10-11 st what they should naturally be. They will be solid at 14st

This is a lot of discussion of a fighter whose career probably will now consist of outpointing a couple of journeymen unimpressively and bring blitzed by someone like Richard Towers!

Larry is on a lose/lose situation. If he wins it will be because of the roids, if he loses it will be because he wasn't on the roids.

Polecateddie is right. I've zero interest in watching him. Plus won't Larry's record be wiped?

Interesting point. All his wins should really be no contests and his opponents should get to claim damages.
