I've seen Fox live several times and he is definitely improving. Fast heavy hitter who is shaping up nicely under Fannan. The game is all about opinions and mine is he'd walk through Crolla and chin Matthews. Really hope he gets in the mix with these lads soon as he will shock a few on here when he does 1000%

It's a silly thread. The OP is understandably bias as he is Fox's brother whereas all the rest of us find it ridiculous he would beat Rees, Crolla and Matthews on the back of beating Hepper(who really can't punch). In my opinion, if Fox ever gets a shot at a British title, he will have done well.

Nor not bias I have my opinion and everyone one else can have theirs, I think he can beat crolla Matthews and Rees and he's not far from a shot at a title now

He's beaten 1 fighter with a winning record, dropped by a journeyman and beaten by another, that isn't going to get him a shot at an English title, let alone a British or Commonwealth title. Rees is way past that level, after the Crolla fight he'll be looking at another world title shot and your brother is a long way from world class.

Gary Fox is way over hyped on this thread. Gary has fought one person on his record with a winning record and that was Hepper himself who has only had something like 4 fights. The total losses of Fox's opponents are 385, so to say he is capable of mixing in top class domestic company is exagerating things at this stage.

To be fair it's only his brother and TheGoods over hyping him, everyone else sees him for what he is, an average area level fighter.

Just set an account up, just for this 1 message. My little brother started this conversation I took the fight with selcuk wasn't expecting the win I am a lightweight only had 12 fights and the fight would of been light-welter and was for experience and recognition. I am hard as nails and I know I can take a shot. so yous have been arguing with a kid by the way... have 3 younger brothers who all look up to me! they've heard me say id fight anyone in Britain at lightweight and I'm 100% confident when I get in the ring. and as for you banging on about who's beat who and who hasn't beat who records are for dj's mate your obviously not a boxer just a spectator. A record means nish to me mush and to most boxers I love a fight bring them on... SEARCH AND DESTROY

Stop being an idiot ya making yaself look like a keyboard warrior, records might mean nish to you but you've been beat of journeyman , Matthews etc would smash you easily , now go wind ya neck In and comeback when you've actually boxed someone half decent instead of 12 fights with nobodies that you haven't even beat them all!!

If you'll fight any Lightweight in Britain, would you fight Ricky Burns? And do you think you could beat him?

He's wide open to the right hand, just drops his left when he throws a right hand or punches are thrown at him, everything seems to be done in straight lines and he throws no body shots. He's also overly reliant on the right hand, jabs with the left and throws the occasional left hook but that's it. He was outboxed for the first 4 rounds by Hepper, until he landed a right hand, appeared to shove Hepper over and then the referee jumped in early when he started to unload while Hepper was on the ropes, again wide open to not just the right hand but any punch as he was swinging wildly with both hands.
yes gary fox did not box well in the first four rounds but when he did switch on and moved his head he looked the more rounded pro and to say he cant mix it with any of the top 10 is harsh when you consider tommy coyles record that is similar and the trouble he gave derry matthews whom you if you judged over the first 11 rounds of that im sure you would not highly rate but look at what derry has acheived dont judge a fighter on 4 rounds on youtube its not a fair assesment as he is improving with every fight

Not sure if this fight was ever happening in the first place, but no longer on Boxrec, and no mention from Goodwin so not happening.

Why not fight Kirk Goodings that would be a good move i here Kirk down to fight Mr Woodhouse for a eliminator but Curtis as moved on to a bigger fight that would be a good move and a North east battle. :TU:
