Who's sitting on the fence if your thinking Billy im sure I read he thinks Derry will win and with DM sparring Ricky today he's not going to say TC is he

this could end up like Prince v Limond fight one with loads of work rate and the other with cleaner shots
I was just messing around not read all the comments get bored to easy..but one thing for sure this fight is a cracker far better than Crolla v Rees
It's not. They are both very good fights. Throw in Gavin-Vassell and Golovokin-Macklin and its a great weekend of action.

I've not seen a lot of Coyle - one fight in fact. He looked tidy and organised but will have to show a lot more to beat Matthews who is very good at just about everything in the boxing game. All the talk about him not having a chin is plain silly; he has been boxing men in his class for years - he doesn't have many easy bouts at all; if more boxers did this then they'd have the odd stoppage loss. I can imagine Tommy is very good in sparring but Derry can dig in on fight nght and takes some beating. I can't see Coyle boxing better than Crolla or being as strong and insistent as Rees; unless Derry is ready for the knackers yard he will win this one fairly easily.
(It is a good weekend for boxing - is the GGG bout on Sky or allegedly)?

Hey Derry, serious question. The reason im asking ya is you seem an honest guy in regards to your strengths and weaknesses. Would you say your chinny or vulnerable in regards to punch resistance?

Columbo if most lightweights in Britain had fought the caliber of fighters Derry has then they would have a few stoppages on there record, Derrys a aggressive fighter and goes for it, that puts him in the firing line, it's not a case of being chinny, when you get hit by top fighters with 8 oz gloves on it fooking hurts trust me, in plenty of Derrys fights he could of tucked up when it's going against him and thought ill just lose this on points but he's not that type of fighter, celebrate his attitude and bravery to leave it all in the ring even if that means getting taken out rather than look for a negative in his record, he's a kill or be killed type of fighter that's why he's so popular, easy to call somebody chinny or vulnerable when your not the one in there when bombs are flying past your ears, 95% of people would run for cover, Derry doesn't, he stays in the firing line and try's to take your head off, like I said kill or be killed and I mean that in the sporting sense, I've sparred Derry and he's very very good and can bang, who knows about tommy he's not boxed anybody of note yet and I think he's in for a shock when he gets hit by Derry, this could be over quick

Curtis are you still going down to lightweight and is there any chance you could be in the mix with top guys at British title level and if this fight goes Derry's way you and Tommy can get it on or you could just asked to fight the winner

My last fight was at lightweight and so is my next against joe Elfidh, ill be looking to get a shot at the British title as soon as I can, I'd like to get in the mix with the big boys soon enough, on the domestic scene I think on my night I would give them all a tough nights work

Derry lad v Curt.
Bombs way !!!!
If that fight happens - and with the Coldwell connection why not ? - I think I'd end up watching from ringside peeping through my fingers like a 10 year old at an 18 rated horror movie ! Scary !

I would rather see Curtis v Tommy but of bad blood there styles make fights although Derry v Curtis sounds like a war but they tend to disappoint when styles are similar... Tommy v Curtis would be a cracker and would build up well!! I think Tommy will win this fight although I want Derry to win.. So would love to see the grudge match between Curtis and Tommy #twitterwar

I'm guessing Scott Harrison now that would be something else.. I'm a tight Dundonian and I would pay to see that one ha
