It sort of feels very odd to me... Boxing fans... Don't you dare call each other names. But feel free to punch the shit out of one another.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just as bad.

Can you imagine a Suarez-Evra style situation going to court?

- "Your Honour, he used racial insults against me!"

- "What were you doing at the time?"

- "Punching him in the face, Your Honour."

Excellent post, lovely turn of phrase and nice build to the punch line.

Well done, sir.

I see what your saying, but to be honest I don't find the pre-fight preening to be particularly entertaining. All this posing and trying to look hard does nothing for me. I like to watch fights with a beer or two. What I don't want to see is people acting like each fight is personal, and showing off pre-match. That just gets tiresome.

Ali on Parkinson or Tyson Fury on twitter.

Fair point.

But when Ali was doing it, it was something new and different. Now people are just copying him, and it gets a bit dull. We've seen it all before.

Fury is trying to distance himself from the fact he's ducking Haye by being racist. He's cleverer than he looks.

That is a seriously cryptic contribution.

Only joking. Its not racist. He is just being a cock again and he will get sparked out, should they ever fight but I have serious, serious doubts.

I think that Ali's behaviour around this stuff in the 60's gets brushed under the carpet. He has changed his views now, but I don't love what he said about race at the time, much as I love him. In other news, is it possible that Michael Parkinson is responsible for Ali suffering Parkinsons?

No, as he never touched him due to the firm belief it would turn his hand black.

Not a very curvy ball! Yes, there would be no other explanation.
So it is feasible that it was a racist jibe delivered in such a way that almost everybody would presume it was an I'm a Celebrity jibe?
My thoughts are as above.

I too hate the "looking for racism in every comment" approach, but as Fury and his team have played the "racism card" on a number of occassions I have no sympathy for him if people interpret his comments in this way.

Im no fan of Fury and he is an idiot but he was referring to im a celebrity .
Trying to insinuate Haye is a personality more than a boxer these days.
Haye will hammer Fury he knows that thats why the fights not been made.
He ducked Price and if Price hadnt been sparked it would be Price Fury would be calling but ducking.
He is a f***ing joke but not a racist imo.

Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno, Scott Welch, Anthony Joshua and ..................Tyson Fury.
Don't miss it when it's on.

If David Haye has agreed to the 80/20 split I will give you the money myself. But as far as sources go im assuming his father in law is a traveller who can never tell a lie chavvy moosh as god is his witness.
Haye will hammer him he is running his mouth while running away.

He is a jeweller in Doncaster town center; he told me that it was agreed and 50/50, signed for September; he doesn't go to the fights but watches on telly; he's Paris' dad and is a sound and decent sort :TU:

I agree, quite obviously a reference to the program and nothing else. Why do people have to look for other interpretations? Anyway Fury is not in Davids class, only with his gob but nothing else.
