Do we need to see ifilm on allegedly - what's the big deal.
This is nothing new from Bunce, he's been shooting down 'non journalists' for the best part of a decade. He's got warped ideas on what 'proper boxing man/journalist' should be. Basically if you haven't covered at least 400 amateur shows and not got paid then you don't deserve to be a boxing journo. It's embarrassing.
Also though I feel I film are getting things wrong as its seems to be more about KC recently than the actual content. Should let the content doing the talking and not act like divas the second someone bans or threatens to sue them. Sadly it's been happening for years in boxing.

Who has the bigger audience?
From a quick scan through the ifilm channel, 6500-7000 is about the norm for a standard clip. Anyone have a genuine idea on numbers of viewers the Bunce Hour gets? My guess is that it wouldn't be significantly higher.

DBF,
Whilst I appreciate your sentiments its the two faced or should I say twenty two faced approach that pisses me off.
BN and Co weren't shy in utilising Kugan for getting E Mail Gate out there were they ?
Equally Hearn has loved using I film as a propaganda vehicle.
In fact all the players have.
Put up or shut up I say.
What's wrong with taking the rough with the smooth ?

That just makes him look like an idiot who is taking orders from above.
Every boxing fan i know here in the UK loves the stuff Ifilm provide us with.
Just a crazy statement from Bunce.
I think it's jealousy on Bunce's part quite frankly (no pun intended). Lot's and lot's of fight fans tune in to ifilm London. I love the videos. Always laid back, informal, yet informative. Ifilm will not go away. The internet has become a major tool for promoters to speak to fans and it will get bigger. Eddie has charisma and charm, he looks at ease on the camera, unlike certain other individuals. People aren't daft enough to take in everything Eddie say's, but it's a good format for hearing about developments in the game. Long may it continue

Bunce just hates the thought of any new journalist emerging. He always tries to put them down because they have not had the background him and a few other have. It is impossible, though. Can you imagine a new kid on the block asking for a landline at ringside so he can file his report through and shunning the internet just so he can be like Bunce? All new writers from now on will emerge online, the world has changed.

So very, very true. I dare say Colin Hart is probably the same (and he often comes across as a bit of pudendum himself). Move aside old men, new folk are coming through!

Look at Jeff Powell !!
He felt compelled to write a character assination on Adam Booth, because Booth apparently banned him from a press conference. I think it was to do with Powell's comments on the Haye - Chisora bust up and subsequent fight.

The Jeff Powell piece after getting shunned was hilarious, just a whiney article splattered with a dozen pictures of him with boxers of the past and present. It reeked of self importance. Possibly the worst article I've ever seen.

Yes it did, big time...........
It said an awful lot about his character i thought. It was as if he just couldn't stop himself from writing that piece. It was definately a "Do you know who i am ? " piece. What makes me laugh about Powell is the constant promotion of Amir Khan. Every other fight, Khan get's his ass dumped and yet Powell chimes on and on about a fight with Mayweather and seems to view Khan as some sort of second coming.

No one takes Bunce seriously anymore do they ? Frank pulls his strings; he's just a PR man now. He'd shouldn't be allowed to masquerade as an independent journo any longer, in the Independent or BM either.
His show with Lillis is like Wayne's World broadcast out of a basement.

The irony is if it wasn't for iFilm covering allegedly press conferences, there would be no coverage at at all! allegedly no longer seem to stream their conferences live via their website and don't upload they via YouTube either.

Yep, free advertising. What would be cool if iFilm came out and publicly stated they will not be promoting or speaking to anyone associated with BN until they receive a public apology (

). BN can dig deep to promote themselves.

I've defended Bunce before but he's come across as a jealous arrogant tosser in his exchanges with Kugan.
He obviously sees what ifilm does as a threat. Attacking them won't further your cause Steve.

I find the comments here about Jeff Powell and Colin Hart very disrespectful, from people who haven't met them.
Luckily I've had the displeasure of meeting both of these vile has-beens on a number of occasions so I can form my views on actual encounters.

I cant tell if that's a serious comment or a joke, or a combination of the two

It is a sarcastic, but true, comment I believe.

Yes, it was pure sarcasm, and sentence 1 was certainly not meant mock anyone other than the dinosaur writers.
One of these days I will post my top 10 awful things I've seen people involved in boxing do. I'm tempted to post a few without names.
