I have 'dealt' with him on numerous occasions and have worked with people who have dealt with him. On the whole he is liked but has some persistent haters. Have a word with Munroe or the Shinfields if you want to hear honest opinions of people who have previously been on his payroll. Yes he has made some mistakes but he's no satan by any means. He's down to earth and speaks his mind whether I agree with him or not

Also you can't accurately judge someone after dealing with him in relation to one fight (Deano, I presume you worked with Frank on the Dallas fight, correct me if I'm wrong). I've worked on Frank's shows for numerous years and by no means is he perfect but he generally has a good heart (not literally ....).

I won't go into details on hear but it's not just one fight I am referring to and i will also say that Dallas was treated badly but can also say that virtually every one that I know in the game says the same thing about him that he will drop you like a stone without a second thought if he thinks its the right move for him so you must excuse me if I'm a little short on sympathy for him I'm sure a lot of boxers and there teams will feel the same way tonight

Agree, when you think about the Zack Page robbery also, Dallas has really had 4 defeats in his last 5 fights.

If he has treated you or your fighter badly then you are certainly entitled to your opinion. However, from my personal experience I would say that the vast majority of boxers/trainers who have worked under him (currently or in the past) during my time generally like him. That's merely my experience. He can be perceived by some people as over-protective of his own fighter's interests and sometimes a ruthless businessman but that's not always a bad thing. The world of business is generally ruthless. He's no saint but there are FAR worse people in the business. I can certainly sympathise with his predicament.

Dallas was messed about and didn't step in the ring for 9 months after the price fight after a fight like price he was told he would take up where he left off and be back out quickly his confidence obviously suffered after such a Defeat and then he gets put in with Skelton 9 months later. If you where looking after a fighter would you do that to them ? But now Tom has got a good team around him and is going to build his career back up he fights next Saturday york hall in his first fight in over a year if you want tickets let me know lol

But in many ways, if he can't beat a guy like Skelton, then he aint got what it takes to get to British title level. I know what your saying maybe he should have had an easier fight in between, but that fight was an opportunity if he was good enough to take it.

Im from Medway so I wish Tom well. I think he's possibly found his level but time will tell.

Well I'm glad that he now has an opportunity with the 3 fight deal he has to prove that he can be a force at British level he fights Tomas Mrazek in his first fight back next week and I think if Tom can put him away inside the 6 rounds it will be a nice little statement to make being as Sam Sexton and the two Furys couldn't do it but I'm bias in Toms favour lots of people think he is shite Which will make it all the more sweater when he comesback to win a title if he doesn't at least he gave it a go

Agreed. A 45 year old Skelton is definitely a step below Price and some would say it was a fair test for Dallas after losing against Price. We often blame promoters for not putting their fighter's in tough dangerous fights but we can't say the same about Maloney (as illustrated yet again today). Remember Skelton lost four of his last 7 fights at the time (3 by stoppage) when he faced Dallas. Skelton has never been a 'big' puncher despite his good KO percentage. He lands 'clubbing' punches and applies constant pressure. On paper it looked like a decent test and many thought Dallas would win. Maybe, in hindsight, Maloney was wrong for choosing Skelton as an opponent but that's hindsight for you. Best of luck to Tom

Didn't you previously tell us that Tom had put on 2 stone of muscle in 8 weeks and we'd see a new Tom but then he lost ?

I thought prices chin was fine wasn't it. Body shot started all the problems. He just totally gassed out and no stamina. He took about a dozen clean(ish) shots and didn't get put down.

Admittedly he was hugging the ring turnbuckle towards the end
