Fury has to box and use his reach and strength to frustrate Haye.
Haye has had 20 rounds in 3 years. The rust will be there
Inactivity may play a part.
Do you honestly see Fury and Haye being of a similar quality then? Simply size will make the difference?
I think if Fury was 6'2 he would do well to win a British title.
Haye is clearly the more talented.
Haye is more athletic and hits harder; I'm not sure I've seen him box southpaw and win a fight though as Fury did to Rogan - that showed courage and versatility. Fury is a full time boxer and Haye a part time; Haye will have to train into condition; Fury will be in decent shape already and will work on a strategy; this won't be as one sided as people imagine.
I think there is a certain myth about Haye that makes people think he is some sort of unstoppable knockout machine. He has handpicked his opponents for the last 5 years (except Wlad) and look what happened there.
Fury definitely has improved. His workrate and his size make him a handful for anyone.
Fury has to box Haye, use his strengths and not go gung-ho with a puncher. Haye is explosive but his work rate is lacking - Fury on points for me.
If they were the same size isn't an argument for me; they both fall under the same weight class.

To be fair, Fury's opponents have not been exactly murderers row and are the definition of hand picked.
I echo the poster who never got an answer: any clue as to what date the tickets will go on sale?

From memory Froch/Kessler tickets went on sale the day after the presser didn't they?

Don't agree with that, fury took a bunch of risks fighting unbeaten guys who no one knew how good they were...the brazilian with a high ko %, power...the unbeaten american and the unbeaten canadian camp. Prices opponents were hand picked and safe up untill thompson...everyone knew what to expect which wasent much. I also think johnston is better than thompson.

It was a Monday at 12.00, think it was the same day as presser. Hatton's went on sale same day as well. Best tweet Eddie. Those who booked for Charr get the charges free. Should be Eventim.

So whoever picks Fury over 12 thinks Haye will not land at all? When Haye DOES land, that's an instant 10-8. Seriously lads, your heart is ruling your head.
I think the bet to have is how many times Fury goes down.

Yes, Eddie tweeted well in advance they would be on sale. Still caught the casuals on the hop though.

It caught out some hardcore fans I know too! Inner ring tickets won't sell out ok day for this due to price. The cheaper ones will fly out the door! They give notice for it!

Is his dad out of jail already?

I guaranty you now they would be jumping up and down on David Hayes head
What will be interesting is if Haye uses James Thompson as a bodyguard , Because of what Fury said about UFc champion Cain Velasquez,Thompson has been making videos calling Fury out for an MMA fight

Maybe someone will gouge his eye out?

. Prat.

No. There are several more uncles, cousins and brothers similar, though. Not saying anything will happen I just think the hype and threats should be toned down a bit. I'm not exaggerating when I say they are quite a serious family.

I couldn't find a "sarcasm" emoticon. It's a boxing match between two individuals. It just gets a bit dull reading all this "family" stuff from certain members of the travelling community. We all have families, and my sisters can talk a better fight than Tyson Fury.

I'd back Haye, Groves, Booth, Kugan and Spud against the Fury clan any day.

Therebythegrace, I only mentioned what if they were the same size, because it's the easiest way to determine who has better attributes etc
Of course it don't matter.
Fury has only shown that he might have a better engine than Haye so far ( he was actually blowing out of his arse against Cunningham! ) That and perhaps his jab but that's not saying much as Haye barely has one! It will be interesting to see what happens.
A prime Haye destroys nearly everyone he faces below elite level.
His list of heavyweight opponents is nowhere near as bad as some make out. Only Valuev and Wlad have not got battered since he fought The Cat.
Will certainly tell us how good Fury is unless Haye is a shadow of himself.

If Fury wins, will people use that as the reason why?

Hopefully not Keith. If Fury wins it will be an excellent win. Haye is certainly not shot to bits, he may be rusty but I think he believes he has too much for Fury, rusty or not. Which could work against him because of Furys size and he's a dogged tenacious fella.

Well it depends if Haye looks terrible, which is very unlikely. He keeps himself in shape and is still only 32 despite his inactivity.
If Fury beats Haye it's a great win in my book.
In the flip side if Haye blasts Fury out with ease, will Tyson be called a fraud?

If Haye dominates him, then it's a yes.

Not one bit. Haye will be at his very best. If the fight actually happens that's it ! I don't buy excuses anymore

Problem is we buy the fight and get excuses after with no chance of a refund.
