Jon SLowey v Marco Mcullogh (sp) for the celtic title ... good fight .
I like that fight. Slowey is counter punching southpaw and McCulloch will walk forward all night and let bombs go. Should be good.Alba wrote:Jon SLowey v Marco Mcullogh (sp) for the celtic title ... good fight .
Decent enough Alba?Alba wrote:I think the line up of home fighters is decent enough value for £40 , plus getting to see Luke Campbell and Scott Cardle aswell ,as these guys wont be fighting reguarly up here. Its all down to opnions of course, but 3/4 title fights over the championship distance is good value, while the opponents might not be public knowledge or even up on Box rec im sure there will be some decent ones in there ...geoffburt07 wrote:Stop getting your panties in a twist Billy aha. I said I don't want to take a holiday and travel to the to the show if its not 50/50 fights. Just because there's certain belts on the line doesn't mean they will be good fights. Hearn usually matches well and I know Morrison isn't scared to put his boys in with good guys but like most, I wouldn't buy tickets without knowing the line up.
I think Simpson should stay at super feather anyway. He looks good at the weight.maley1984 wrote:geoffburt07 wrote:I knew simpson was boxing for commenwealth but think they found it hard to get opponent.
just had a tweet off ryan walsh and his fighting selby for both his titles which wud mean no shot for simpson at feather
It's not and it isn't a great card, but that place is full of the old ESB lot, you've got people saying that a prime Scott Harrison would take out Ricky Burns in 3 roundsPaullow wrote:Undercard will be considered dross to the casual Sky fan. Can see a fair few tuning in at 10pm or so just to see the main event.

General consensus aint good on there.

General consensus aint good on there. And that pudendum Rob Palmer's there as well, good reason to avoid it, comes out with some of the most ridiculous claims ever. Always used to say that before a PPV he'd have 50-60 people asking him whether to buy it, just looked at his twitter and he appears to have no friends, all his tweets are to Eddie Hearn, Dave Coldwell, Spencer Fearon, Steve Lillis and Dean Powell.

Aye exactly, a Prime Scott Harrison would destroy a hard working, nicey nicey Ricky Burns. You are better being lucky than good in this sport.Paullow wrote:expe wrote:It's not and it isn't a great card, but that place is full of the old ESB lot, you've got people saying that a prime Scott Harrison would take out Ricky Burns in 3 roundsPaullow wrote:Undercard will be considered dross to the casual Sky fan. Think Ricky would have at least seen the 5th round.
What happened to him?Paullow wrote:John Simpson off the undercard now. Weakest undercard since the new Sky format?
Take it Paul is not with Frank anymore? Is he a Morrison fighter?geoffburt07 wrote:Paul Appleby returns to the ring aswell. Either 4x3s or 6x3s at light welter
