I like that fight. Slowey is counter punching southpaw and McCulloch will walk forward all night and let bombs go. Should be good.

It's not and it isn't a great card, but that place is full of the old ESB lot, you've got people saying that a prime Scott Harrison would take out Ricky Burns in 3 rounds And that pudendum Rob Palmer's there as well, good reason to avoid it, comes out with some of the most ridiculous claims ever. Always used to say that before a PPV he'd have 50-60 people asking him whether to buy it, just looked at his twitter and he appears to have no friends, all his tweets are to Eddie Hearn, Dave Coldwell, Spencer Fearon, Steve Lillis and Dean Powell.

Think he done his shoulder in sparring. Who is slowey boxing now? Does anyone know? Heard Cardle v Gary Fox but again not vonfirmed

Beltran is legit and a proper throwback.

I forecast a long difficult night for Ricky and this result is by no means assured.

Bookies have Burns a 2/9 favorite whereas Beltran is a ridiculous 10/3 outsider.

If Rick brings his A-game, plus the fantastic crowd behind him, he should dominate.

If the same Rick turns up that appeared last time, that belt will be going home with Beltran.

Beltran is good but can't see how Ricky can lose to him.. I think this is another test to show he belongs at World Level.. Can Beltran win? Yes if he has been looked beyond.. Ricky should!! Be better in every department. I don't understand why everyone always goes on about Billy getting fired and Ricky looking for a new coach.. Billy may well wind people up the wrong way but he is 100% the right man for Ricky Burns.. He has got an average British level fighter through hard work and sheer dedication to become a world class operator.. Ricky will win then hopefully we will see the unification fights :)

Beltran's sparring with Pacquiao won't help him one bit, in fact it will probably be a hindrance. Pacquiao is a 5'6" southpaw and Burns is 5'10", has a longer reach and boxes out of the orthodox stance with a different style. Sparring with someone like Pacquiao, it's difficult to really stand and trade and like most sparring partners, come fight night, I'd expect him to offer very little once he's backed up onto the ropes, he will most likely go into a shell and cover up without offering much back.

Trust me ricky is not 5f 10. Boxrec and other sites have him at 5f 10 but he's defo smaller than that mate.
